I thought if I waited a few days I’d have words for a caption, but I still can’t seem to get it quite captured in words what this retreat was and is.

We had some who came last year, some who were friends of theirs, and some who knew no one going in. We all left changed by His goodness and connected for life because of that bond.

My prayer going into last years retreat and this one was to keep me small in every step and glorify Him in it all. I don’t want to host these retreats if I’m the center or I’m thought to be a healer or anything other than a servant and warrior for Jesus. He came in BIG.

Marriages from last year restored in His name. Husbands saved. Broken hearts healed. Bodies in distress were nourished and brought back to calm. Hope restored. And idols laid to rest. Sin repented, and new paths forged.

We worshipped and we praised. We ate. So much did we eat. We prayed and cried and laughed. We hugged. We encouraged. He did it all.

I wish I could capture in words what was experienced here but I just can’t, and that’s ok. It wasn’t meant for that. I think we’ll do it again next year if that’s His plan.

But for now, I am just thankful that we got to have this time to glorify Him. Because He’s worthy of it all.
