Fredericton Fall Classic this weekend was a PR in the 10K. Shoutout to @courtneyjrjones for sacrificing a sliver of her birthday weekend to support my first race.

Congrats to @patrick.muir for setting his new PR in the Half Marathon! Also, shoutout to @abbeyevans02 for a great 10k time and for being my race start buddy… even though you left me in the first 1k. 🥲

Super late to the game here but here’s my 2025 in a nutshell ☺️

2025 was the year I chose change.

It was the year I made some big changes in my life, took a few scary leaps, and started building a version of life that feels more like me. A lot of growing and learning to trust that sometimes starting over is exactly what you need.

I moved to the country with my mom last summer to clear my head and have a restart, then ended up downtown Freddy in the cutest townhouse with three of my best friends. I hiked the Fundy Footpath in pouring rain, ran my third Fredericton Spring 10K, learned how to play tennis, focused on my health amd fitness, and spent as much time outside as I possibly could.

I took a pretty wild trip to Boston (enough said haha), and later took a trip to Vegas and Zion national park solo to meet girls I had only ever talked to online before that. A lot of pushing myself out of my comfort zone and saying yes to experiences that beforehand I probably would have been too scared to try.

Continued to work at my fav job and music festival, Harvest, joined the Officer’s Square music series team and found such a great group of people with the Cap crew, and spent my third season at Crabbe Mountain.

I watched my nieces and nephew grow another year older, saw my sister happier than ever, celebrated my friends finding happiness, and started a relationship with who is now my best friend and favourite human on earth. I gave my dog the best year of her life, cried a lot, laughed even more, and spent so much time with the people who mean the most to me.

2025 was messy and beautiful, and full of change but it helped me grow into someone stronger, and more myself than ever before.

So grateful for everyone and everything that was part of it. ❤️
