Today, we’re proud to publish the international edition of The Impossible President. Some stories stay with you because of the people at their heart.

This is the story of the women who dared, the women who stayed, and the women who refused to give up. Tinuke’s story is fictional, but her determination is familiar. It’s the same determination that continues to inspire people in stories such as Yanuni, where Juma Xipaia risks everything to protect her people and the Amazon rainforest. OH WOW.
What a night. What a life.

It was an honour to be shortlisted for WBOTY this year, a fact that I don’t think truly hit me until I saw the cover of There She Goes, My Beautiful World on the screen, sat down waiting for the ceremony to begin. That’s when the tears started and they didn’t really stop yet. Seeing many dear friends and heroes win was wonderful. Iestyn, Joe, my beautiful Anthony who was with me from the beginning of this journey. Congratulations everyone, thank you for your speeches. Thank you to the judges for shortlisting me, what a ride.
And to become People’s Choice!!!!! Diolch Nation Cymru and Jon Gower, thank you, diolch yn fawr, dziękuję bardzo for every vote and every message of support to everyone, for sharing my book with the beautiful world. I have some big boots to fill…

✨ IT’S PUBLICATION DAY!! ✨

My debut book, How an Egg Changed My Life, is officially out into the wild and my heart is bursting 📚

I celebrated with cake. Bronwen’s Sky Cake, from the book, to be exact, which has the correct balance of deliciousness, celebration and nostalgia to mark such a special day 🥹

An enormous thank you to everybody at my publisher @calonbooks and my wonderful editor @abbieheadon for giving me the opportunity to write this book 🫶🏻
