*Update* I found our masquerade DJ 🤩 @grimmworkz
Thank you so much for doing this at the ANYC masq you are the GOAT for this one! Also to @plusultraentertainment as well for their services at ANYC

📹: @abbysayswords thank you Abby for recording this 😂 got caught losing it in 4k

😂 It's such a catchy song one of the songs we pick for singing at the karaoke too. Thank you DJ for choosing Hotel Room Service as the last song to wrap up the masquerade night. Both Mr. Worldwide @sap_gremlin and I were losing it.

Really love how everyone was vibing and singing along. 😭 Who could have predicted that this skit & song would bring together everyone in the room.

My wish for our skit to bring joy to everyone who watches it came true 🥹

ON THE LAST EPISODE OF “COSPLAY HIATUS” … 👁️👄👁️

🐥 the sleepiest potato crawled her way to her 9th anime nyc with a hope and a dream. she didn’t know who she was going to cosplay until 15 minutes before she boarded the train to manhattan. regardless, the sleepiest potato hosted the 9th annual sailor moon meetup and saw a plethora of beautiful moonies 🥹

🐥 our protagonist potato was so happy to see so many friends and familiar faces~ from there, she transformed into your friendly neighborhood dog to welcome villagers to a special saturday performance of kk slider — ✨pitbull slider✨. together, los anímales won best advanced performance runner up and they will dale into the night as mr. worldwide would want.

🐥 … then she basically perished but made it back home and doesn’t know what day it is but ok.

y’all. i had such an amazing weekend. the three cons i attended in august were nonstop glorious joy because of the amazing people i am surrounded by. i am so lucky, so happy, so blessed. to everyone i saw at anyc this weekend. thank you for another wonderful time!!!! i had so much fun and i’m so happy i got to see you all. i will now slumber until my next event… find out next time*~

forget about your worries and meet us in the hotel room 🐶🐸🐤🦉🦝

💖🎂 The galaxy's brightest stars 🌟🎂💖

Two posts in one week? From me?? More likely than you think 😂😂 But I couldn't resist putting up something for Usagi and Chibi-Usa's birthday today, because the Moonie in me would not allow it 😂😂😂 We did this shoot last year in early June (which-- side note 🫠how tf was this already a year ago already) and thought it would be a cute idea to have a birthday photo for them since we were already dressed up 🥹Sailor Moon was what brought us all together in the first place, so it was only fitting to celebrate Usagi and Cheebs on their special day!

"The moonlight is a messenger of love"

One year ago today, I broke my cosplay hiatus and rejoined the creative community again to be part of this phenomenal cosplay group. And I have all these beautiful people to thank for that. I am thankful everyday for them in my life and their continuous friendships at the best of highs and the worst of lows.

This is what Sailor Moon is all about. Love in all its forms. Eros, Agape, Storge, Philia, and most importantly, Philautia.

My friends are Philia and help me with my Philautia.

Thank you @stardusting @angel_moon_cosplay @nianyanyancosplay @gabby_nu @cuchintachan @sailorxtasy @blushippi @moonside_cosplay @umi_no_tenshi @chandiisms @ksisterscosplay @krkleiner @yumemichiru @rizuki @abbysayswords and

happy birthday, taiki 🎂

despite 28 years of me talking smack about taiki and being punished by inheriting her forehead, i really do love her. i think my favorite version of sailor star maker is and will probably forever be hikari ono’s take on her in the ‘90s/early 2000s sailor moon musicals. eien densetsu: the final first stage is one of my most favorite things in the world, and where a lot of my characterization for taiki comes from. it’s just so good.

anyways… looking forward to the day that these three ✨appear✨ again. i’ll be kind i promise*~

Day 8… Madrid! And wow what beautiful green space they have. This rose garden was insane !!! I am definitely making a roses only post 😂. Another 20k plus step day, plenty of incredible food (that I didn’t even get to post here!) and some perfect weather. I didn’t know what to expect from Spain but it’s been great.

Day 6 … a visit to Domme! And some of the best roses I’ve ever seen. What a precious village! We also visited some incredible caves. I’m truly running out of adjectives at this point. Last full day in France, but not the end of the adventure !

“𝓛𝓮𝓽’𝓼 𝓼𝓹𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮 𝓲𝓷𝓴!” ⚔️🖌️🥖🇫🇷
I know it’s a silly joke costume in game, but this was the costume I was most looking forward to wearing to MAGfest, mostly because I got to wear her with my friends.

Everyone in our baguette group fit their characters so well in looks &/or personality, & then there was me, who ended up as Maelle because I’m the shortest lol. So this is my attempt to look like I’m 16 going on 30 or 40 years old (& do not need this). I struggled with deciding on doing her or Alicia, but finally found a red ponytail wig that I could style & wear all day comfortably. Also had to learn how to do freckle makeup since absolutely no character I’ve cosplayed so far has had them (thank you @_apothecarie for the tips on that, & shout out to @owldepot for making everyone’s bread slings).

Ultimately, as the eldest daughter/sister in my family, I relate the most to Clea out of all the characters & kind of want to make her painted version sometime. Either way, thank you for meeting me during a very French time in my life.

I love my friends all so much! 😭 I can’t believe it’s the last Moonie Monday of the year … I know no matter what we’ll always be there for each other ✨ as a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand, or a voice of logic that says “No, CJ, you don’t need to buy more Sailor Moon merch!” lol 😂 #mooniemonday #sailormoon #sailormooncosplay
