JULY 28, 2026. A FaceTime call no father should ever have to witness. 💔

I am sharing this recording because I believe my children’s safety, their voices, and their right to have a relationship with their father deserve to be taken seriously.

In this recording, my daughter is accused of breaking the rules simply because she wanted to continue communicating with me, her father. What I witnessed left me deeply concerned about how my children are being treated.

Since July 1, I have been fighting to protect my three children and preserve our relationship.

Two requests for temporary orders of protection involving their maternal grandparents have been denied by Judge RIENNE MCELYEA, despite the serious concerns I have raised and blood found in my daughters urine from suspected sexual abuse. Those denials do not erase my concerns or my responsibility to continue seeking answers.

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that there is another option.

Our family has a vacant, fully furnished, four-bedroom home in Belgrade, Montana. My children could be living there with their mother, in a home with room for all three of them, rather than remaining in a living arrangement about which I have repeatedly raised safety concerns.

I am not asking anyone to take allegations as proven facts. I am asking that the evidence be examined, that my children’s safety be independently assessed, and that their voices be heard.

Wanting to speak to your father should never be a reason for a child to be punished.

I love my children. I miss them every day. And I will continue advocating for their safety, their well-being, and their right to be loved without fear.

Please help keep attention on the need for a fair, thorough, and independent examination of these concerns.

In the second debate between the Republican and Democratic Western Congressional District candidates, Aaron Flint and Sam Forstag both portrayed themselves as blue-collar Montanans trying to help lower costs for working people.

Each candidate argued that his opponent isn’t blue-collar at all, isn’t being candid with voters, and is aligned with backers who are out of step with Montana’s political and economic landscape.

As the sun rises, many of us will see the remnants of the season’s first overnight snowfall. ❄️

Please plan for extra travel time, as some roads remain blocked by downed trees and/or power lines along with heavy snow and some ice.

⏰Allow extra time to reach your destination.
🚫Stay clear of downed power lines, fallen trees, and other debris.
⚠️Use caution while traveling and prioritize your safety.

🚒 Bozeman Fire has responded to nearly 60 emergency calls in less than 24 hours many storm-related along with other 911 calls.

Please do your part to stay safe, use caution, and give all our City crews room to work safely.

We’re here for you 24/7/365 thanks for being there for us!

Today is National Voter Registration Day.

It’s a good day to take a minute and make sure your voter registration is current — especially if you’ve recently moved, changed your name or haven’t checked it in a while.

NonStop Local serves communities across Washington, North Idaho and Montana, and each state has its own official voter resources:
🗳️ Washington: VoteWA.gov
🗳️ Idaho: VoteIdaho.gov
🗳️ Montana: Visit the Montana Secretary of State’s Elections page at sosmt.gov/elections

You can use those official state resources to register or check your registration status.

National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan effort focused on one thing: making sure eligible voters are registered and ready when Election Day arrives.

Already registered? SHARE this with someone who might need the reminder.

NEVER FORGET! NEVER FORGET! NEVER FORGET!

I’m super proud of the entire NonStop Local team for our coverage this past week of the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Our team told stories focusing on Montanans, and their response to that tragic day:

-Montana 1st responders who went to Ground Zero
-New memorial in Whitefish using pieces of Twin Towers
-Psychology of “flashbulb memories” of 9/11
-Montanans who were inside the Pentagon when plane hit
-Military families who prepped loved ones for war
-Montana actors using the stage to tell 9/11 stories
-Airports in Montana on the chaos in the skies that day
-Billings mom had son on 9/11/01 remembers experience

It’s estimated right now that 100 million Americans live in our country that were not alive or old enough to remember that tragic Tuesday in September. Let these stories go along with the countless others, as we try to keep memories of the heroism, horror, and unity alive for the next generation.

The 22-minute show we aired on the anniversary is up on YouTube in its entirety, and you can find the link in my bio!

NEW: Where were you on September 11th, 2001?

Everyone has a story, and everyone has a memory from that tragic day. But why is that?

I talk with Montana psychologists about “flashbulb” moments, and why 9/11 memories leave dramatic imprints on our brains, and on our hearts.

25% of young adults who age out of foster care end up houseless, within four years of leaving the foster care system. That was one of the main points discussed during Thursday’s housing roundtable with @govgianforte and @secretaryturner

The pair were speaking with local housing experts, Montana youth who have been in the foster care system, and representatives from @montanastateuniversity

Gianforte and Turner also spoke about solutions for housing for young adults, including housing vouchers through the “Melania Trump Foster Youth To Independence Program”. These vouchers cover a portion of rent for young adults in private market housing for up to 36 months.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
For 70-year-old Dennis Godby, that journey is more like 3,450 miles.

The naturopathic doctor has been on a four year adventure, walking across the United States, to raise awareness for health equity — the state in which all people have access to healthcare.

In Montana, health equity is all the more important, as 65% of Montanans do not have access to adequate primary care. 35% of physicians within the treasure state live in Montanas seven largest communities.

On August 24th, Godby began the final leg of his walk in Bozeman, venturing with a group of four others to his final destination in Seattle. The final leg of Godby’s walk is expected to take nearly a month, concluding on September 24th after 762 miles covered.

AIR DATE: August 26th, 2026.
