The ADVENTURE category at TCC is a shorter distance making it an accessible experience for ALL abilities.

Walk, walk/ jog, run, run/ walk - however you plan to cover the daily stages, you are still experiencing the magic of Costa Rica.

Quepos to Drake Bay ✅
Same campsites ✅
Same all-inclusive food ✅
Same amazing and immersive experience ✅
Manageable distances ✅
A perfect sport/ relaxation combo✅

@abelonely race the Expedition category in 2020 placing 4th. In 2026 she returned to TCC and races Adventure -

“I decided to do Adventure as I was returning to racing after foot surgery. Often, a shorter race distance can be perceived as negative. Not at TCC! The route is amazing, you still get the same immersive experience and dare I say, I preferred the shorter route… I had more time to recover, more time to relax and I was able to explore and experience where we were camping as I had more time and energy. The Adventure category, for me, is the perfect running holiday. When I return to TCC again, I think Adventure category will be my choice.”

Join us for the perfect running holiday!? #tcc2027 is waiting for you.

Being out on Hardangervidda with a camera in my hands is something I look forward to every single year.

This time, we even got rain for the first time. Somehow, it made the race even better. Wilder, rougher and more real.

I’m impressed by everyone who takes on this race, but more than anything, I’m inspired by them. There is something powerful about watching so many people push themselves, keep moving when it gets hard and find joy in the middle of the struggle.

That kind of energy stays with you.

Massive respect to everyone who ran, everyone who helped make it happen, and everyone who brought this day to life.

Hardangervidda delivered. Again.

The rain came, and with it the cloud.

Like a blanket pulled over the fjords and mountains, Stranda disappeared and from the mist, runner’s appeared.

Like an illusion - one moment nothing and then action.

The pace fast. The excitement high. The challenge very real.

One of the best mountain races in the world fired into action - 25km of pure Norwegian craziness.

And as the time passed, the cloud occasionally lifted to tease the eyes of the beauty around.

This is Norway.
This is Stranda.
This is mountain running.

A jewel next to the lake Vangsmøjse and surrounded by mountains - our latest home @sommerhotellet

Tradition mixed with modern design and stunning food - made all the better with the current heatwave! Relaxing outside, music, stunning sunsets and the quiet is deafening…

Mix in some stunning trails, tagging peaks - this place is a place to relax, escape and at the same time, seek adventure.

Top tip? Grindane peak at 1724m alt - a great out and back route with stunning views.

And when back at Sommer Hotellet - take a dip in the lake, take a sauna, drink a sundowner and be thankful for all the good things in life!

And today, a run with a difference…

This may well be the first time we started a run with #viaferrata

Between Lake Bygdin and Vinstervann lies Synshorn - a vertical wall - airy, safe and an adventurous trip up the mountain wall - Synshorn Via Ferrata rises 400 meters in altitude from the starting point by the national road.

At the top, we packed our helmet and harness away, proceeded to the summit of Synshorn at 1475m and than ran a mountain trail loop via Heimre Fagerdalshøe (1510m) and then back through a mountain valley pass all the way back to our starting point… A unique trip and a first for us!

Besseggen

The magical ridge in Vågå Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The 1,634-metre tall mountain ridge is located in the @visitjotunheimen national park.

In July it’s hugely popular taking many 6-8 hours from Memurubu after taking the boat from @gjendebuturisthytte @gjendebaaten

Today, Abelone and I started early from Bessheim (an alternative route) - we were at the ridge by 0900, not a person in sight. Perfect weather, amazing views and the 20km round trip completed in under 4 hours - lunch hard earned.

In June, it’s possible to do a race over Bessggen @beitosport

If you do one hike, if you do one ridge, if you do one mountain adventure in Norway, Besseggen is the one. Yes it is popular, but if you time things right, you can have the place to yourself.
