A leopard sleeping on the steps of Oudi. 🐆

At first glance, it almost looks unreal — a wild leopard casually resting on a place where people pass by every day.

But this image tells a much bigger story.

Leopards are incredibly adaptable. Over time, many of them have learned to live alongside humans, using familiar spaces, pathways and even built structures without showing much concern for our presence.

Captured from above, this frame is a quiet reminder of just how closely these cats have adapted to our shared landscapes.

The wild isn’t always far away from us. Sometimes, it’s right on our doorstep. 🐆

Scientific Name Named After the Wrong Continent!
Red-vented Bulbuls possess unique, sharp alarm calls that act as a universal danger signal.
Despite being native to the Indian subcontinent, the Red-vented Bulbul carries a scientific name derived from South Africa! When French zoologist Mathurin Jacques Brisson first described it in 1760, he mistakenly assumed the specimen came from the Cape of Good Hope. Carl Linnaeus later codified the error into its official species name, Pycnonotus cafer, which—thanks to strict rules of zoological naming—remains locked in history forever.
Red vented bulbul introduced to Oahu, Hawaii, Red-vented Bulbuls developed an expensive taste for exotic flowers. They pecked and destroyed so many blooms that they wiped out up to 75% of local commercial harvests, causing over $300,000 in damages to the island’s orchid industry in a single year!

“Web of the Nightwalker”

Under a sky stitched with stars, the silent phantom moves with purpose—unseen, unfelt… yet never alone. Even the smallest threads of the wild, like the spider weaving its midnight trap, become part of this unseen story. In the darkness, every life is connected, and every step writes a tale of survival.

“Living on Leopard’s Edge”

On the fragile boundary between wilderness and survival, a humble shelter stands beneath silent trees. Just beyond the clearing, a leopard watches from the shadows—unseen by many, felt by all. Here, life unfolds with quiet courage, where humans and the wild share the same breath, separated only by instinct and fate.
