What a week in Washington DC. 🇺🇸

I had a really great time at the @worldbankgroup Youth summit. First hosting delegates from ~180 countries ahead of the Youth Summit to build much needed relationships in collaboration with @careerculturehq @energyz_black

New connections, potential collaborations, opportunities and friendships! This summit has given birth to 2 new global initiatives I will be embarking which is exciting.

I learnt so much from all the speakers and will be making intentional steps on documenting my stories, projects and initiatives going forward.

Thank you to everyone at the Bank, the Youth summit committee and partners! We go again! @savannalll @steven_qi @t_olusinaa @kadvander @alinamalyk.dev

What do you get when you pair a room full of young, gifted minds at Yale University with people making strides in different sectors of life?

You get the Yale Africa Innovation Symposium... where I had the honour of leading an Innovation Lab; we talked about entrepreneurship through the lens of Nollywood and Africa's Creative Sector... but we also talked about faith, purpose, tech, politics, policy and everything in between.

It is always a privilege to be in rooms filled with brilliant minds and gifted people – I am truly grateful to connect with fellow speakers.

From music to governance, biotech to healthcare, the depth of insight in the building was remarkable.

But the highlight, for me, will always be the students.

Because they carry minds filled with ideas, hearts filled with courage, and the genuine potential to shape the future and change the world.

So we talked about everything – business, faith, films, music, tech, policy, politics and purpose.

Not just as separate conversations, but as interconnected forces that shape societies and drive change.

And my prayer is that they left that room not just informed, but inspired.

I once heard Myles Munroe say that “the graveyard is the richest place on earth… because it is filled people who died carrying ideas, dreams and visions that could have changed the world.”

My prayer – for every student in that room, and for everyone reading this – is that we will not go to the grave with those ideas buried on our insides.

May we have the courage to build, create, lead, serve… and just... try.

May we all die empty.
