I present to you the art for my first single, “The Silence” - releasing on Nov. 18!

When I started this project, I wanted the album art to reflect the imagery I saw in my head when I was writing this song and I could think of no one better to recreate it than Sarah Grasso. If you haven’t yet, you really should check out her work @abide_artstudio

I love her style and use of watercolor, so I sent her “The Silence” and she sent me a few amazing ideas. It was exceptionally hard to choose which one to go with, but ultimately this was THE ONE for me!

I wanted the art, like the song, to leave space for interpretation and I think Sarah nailed it.

What do you see when you look at it?

Brag moment: this girl, one of my five incredible sister-in-laws, I'm sure is making last minute preparations tonight to display her beautiful artwork at a festival in Woodstock, VT this weekend. This post is less about that event and more about how proud I am of her hardwork and her willingness to take a risk two years ago in launching her dream, @abide_artstudio ! Having recently worked alongside her, coordinating an event, I have confidence that unbelievable things lie ahead. May God's favor go before her and rest upon everything she places her hands to.
Love you Surah ❤🙏

What a year! Yet still so much to be grateful for.

This year has been filled with so much of the unexpected, both happy aaaaand the not so happy. Okay, lots of the not so happy... BUT, I’m extra grateful for the unexpected (HAPPY) launch of @abide_artstudio. I definitely did not see 2020 birthing my own business, but the Lord surely knew... I remember praying for something new at the start of this year, and did NOT think it would lead to this. Yet, here we are, almost a month in since officially launching. I’m not sure where this thing will go, but I’m sticking with it and know the best is yet to come! John 15:4.
