I’m so excited to announce this you guys. God has been cooking this for around 6 months. After Honduras, came a series of yeses in response to what the Lord has put on my heart and to finally put things to motion.
My heart behind Praise & Pilates is 1 Corinthians 6:19-20,
“Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price.
So you must honor God with your body.”
Paul wrote this in reference to sexual impurity, however, I truly believe this applies to anything we do with our bodies. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice with his body on the cross, so we should count it joy to experience the temporary discomfort of exercise in preparation to serve the Lord.
Praise & Pilates: 15 minutes of devotional/prayer and 45 minutes of Pilates with fun, upbeat worship music and praising the Lord. See you there!
