FROM THE EVENTS MANAGER: Wow…. This is one of those times where I really just don’t know what to type. How can you fit a million things you want to say into one social media caption? The Grain Theory 5th Annual Downtown Oktoberfest was a GIANT SUCCESS! 🍻 : First, the most important thank you of all. My volunteers. The most special group to me. 143 people who gave their time & energy sun up to sun down. The people that make this event possible and my job easier, who hold my hand when things go wrong during the day, make sure I eat, make sure I drink water, and help me when I set my phone down and lose it 543xs. All 143 of you are my heroes. ❤️ : 🎉It’s crazy to see how this event has grown in the two years since I had the blessing of joining Grain Theory and becoming the Event’s Manager. So many of my friends have become part of this event and added so many cool aspects, and I’ve met so many new friends along the way. : 🔵Oktoberfest ‘26 was absolutely without a doubt, the biggest, best, most activity packed, most attended street party in the breweries history. : 🫶🏼Thank you to the owners David, Jeramie, & Matthew for believing in me to pull this off and for creating this event all the way back in 2021 as their personal gift to Abilene as a thank you for your support of the business : 🍺Thank you to my brewery counterpart and GT Distribution Manager Phillip for holding down the taproom and beer tent for me so I can handle everything else : 💰Thank you to the sponsors who gave us money & offered free services to make this event happen. The cost to put this thing on is outrageous and we certainly couldn’t do it without your help : Thank you to Josh & Lindsay for the best stage banter and to Travis for making everything sound amazing. To Maegan, James, Jamie, Nick, Hudson, & Derrick for being the best Celebrity Judges : Thank you to the best event photographer I have ever worked with in my life aka Dawson, owner of @blacktidestudiosllc for these pics less than 24 hours after the event : Thank you to my neighbors @monkscoffeeshop @vagabondpizza @majestic.coffeeshop for giving me cups when the beer tent ran out : -Rani Burk Events, Engagement & Marketing Manager

⚾️❤️ So thankful to the Abilene Flying Bison for giving me an outlet to still be part of the game I love! We are right there with the fans, making memories, having fun and helping create the energy at the ballpark. 🦬⚾️ There’s nothing quite like being in the middle of a crowd that loves baseball as much as I do. So grateful I get to do this! ❤️
