I was the first recipient of the Fellowship in 2019 and it has been an incredible year for me. Some of my most memorable moments from this Fellowship with @lokicooks were - ➡ my first video interview with Loki where we talked about our food dreams of taking Indian regional cuisine to the world stage. We connected deeply during that conversation ➡ Loki’s foodies retreat in Binsar , Uttarakhand where he brought all the finalists of the fellowship together. It was a magical few days foraging and cooking together and truly life changing for me ! ➡ The many chats I had with Loki whilst applying for Masterchef India and during the competition - he was truly my human immunity pin. ➡The financial support from the Fellowship was pivotal for me. I could keep my focus on cooking and this was truly a huge benefit of this Fellowship. ➡And just this month I was sponsored by the Fellowship on my first ever international trip. I did a pop up with @lokicooks in Bali. We did a 8 course degustation style dinner focusing on regional cuisine and it was incredible! Truly a dream come true. ➡ This year I hope to play a significant part in this Fellowship as an Alumni and First Recipient and work alongside @lokicooks to assess the applications and choose the 2020 recipient. I am very excited!
