“We saw Jesus so we had to come see”

When I first started vending, truthfully I used to gravitate only to Christian events because well, is that not my target audience? It used to be uncomfortable & a little clunky at any that weren’t. I almost started to slip into the idea that some of these places were just simply not the place for ABJ. But in time, I realized the responsibility in being the only Christian author or faith-based business in the room…Somebody gotta bring Jesus there, right? 😅

In time, my confidence grew when I realized it wasn’t about how many books I sold, but how many people may have whispered the name of Jesus (for the first time, even) just by walking by my table. And let’s not get started on the testimonies and shared stories.

We’re called to be the light in the darkness. And not at all to say every non faith-based event I’ve been at is equated to darkness. But there was such a powerful revelation that I just had to share in how many people this weekend mentioned “Jesus” caught their or attention or brought them to the table. All He needs is to be lifted up, He’ll do the drawing ✍🏽

Don’t end up with a Saul instead of a Savior because you’re trying to find a natural substitution for a Supernatural God *hit send* 🫣

BUT don’t use his graciousness as an excuse, but indebt yourself to truly striving for walking in purity *because* He’s been gracious enough to forgive you for things you haven’t even done yet. Word to Romans 6:1!!
