four years ago i made the decision to leave my own nest at home & give fgcu a chance. i walked in through those sovi doors unbeknownst to the experiences, growth, challenges, & amazing friendships in store for me.

fgcu not only gave me a degree (early childhood ed. whoop whoop 🥳🍎) — but it also blessed me with friends who would become family, lessons that would shape me (both in and out of the classroom), & the space to find myself. just two hours from home, i have built a life full of happiness, support,knowledge, and love.

to my family, who was always a phone call away, thank you. leaving home was the hardest decision i ever had to make & your unwavering support made this all possible. every move in, every birthday, every time i just needed some reassurance, you were there. my one goal in life is to make you all proud & i know this moment was so special for all of us to share 💞

to my bestfriends & boyfriend, thank you. thank you for sticking with me through the hardest times and being there to celebrate all the great ones. thank you for being you. i am eternally grateful to have such an amazing village in my life that continuously supports me & cheers me on. you guys mean the world to me✨

every late night staring at an extensive canvas to-do list, night out, coffee run, conversation, laugh, cry, lesson plan, internship, exam, all of it; lead me to this very moment.

not only was i being cheered on by those at my ceremony, but i had the most special guest, with the best seat in the house & i could hear him cheering & whistling the loudest when my name was called. abuelo, tu presencia nunca falta, y menos en momentos tan especiales como este. yo se que me estas apollando desde el cielo. te extraño con todo mi alma. este diploma te lo dedico a ti. todas las mañanas que me llevaste a la escuela, cada momento que me hiciste reir, y cada momento que estuviamos juntos siempre lo aguantare fuerte en mi corazon. tu y yo nadamas sabemos cuanto hablamos desde que te fuiste, todos los momentos difíciles y los momentos de orgrullo. gracias abuelo.

Hoy se sintió como un reflejo a lo que realmente son el amor, el propósito y la humanidad. 💙

Baby Lores, un músico latino increíblemente humilde y talentoso, con un corazón de oro, junto a su esposa Lola, representan lo que verdaderamente es una pareja poderosa — no solo en cómo se ve, sino en cómo se siente… dos almas tan alineadas que los sueños del otro se convierten en un propósito compartido.

“Somos Luz” no fue solo un evento… fue un recordatorio lleno de amor — de inclusión, de unión y de la belleza en cada latido. Estoy profundamente agradecida por cada colaboración, cada alianza y cada patrocinador que hicieron esto posible… porque verdaderamente, de todo corazón, se necesita un pueblo.

Y luego, un momento que nunca olvidaré… verlo cantar con mi estudiante — corazón con corazón, alma con alma — fue algo que las palabras no alcanzan a describir. Hay momentos que te conmueven… y hay momentos que te transforman. Este fue uno de ellos.

Baby Lores, ese abrazo y ese llanto que compartimos fue mi agradecimiento eterno por lo que hiciste. Hiciste inmensamente feliz a un joven, a su familia, a su maestra y a todos los que lo aman. Gracias nunca será suficiente. Tengo el corazón lleno!!!

Registered for 2026 Miracle League All-Star Game & so ready to visit Frisco, Texas! ✈️⚾️

From one field that was opened in Conyers, GA in April 2000 to hundreds across the country, the Miracle League has been creating safe spaces where individuals with unique abilities are seen, celebrated, and included — just as they are. What started as one child’s opportunity to play back in 1998 at Rockdale Youth Baseball Association because of a Coach who saw beyond their abilities, has grown into a movement of pure love, community, and belonging.

This year, I’ll be attending the Directors Meeting in Frisco, Texas — surrounded by hearts that serve, leaders that believe, and athletes who shine in ways that words could never fully capture. After experiencing the 2025 All-Star Game in St. Louis, I can wholeheartedly say… there is nothing like it. It’s more than baseball — it’s connection, it’s joy, it’s dignity, it’s life.

And now, as I continue building the Miracle League of Hialeah, I carry this vision even deeper in my heart… that every individual, no matter their ability, deserves to feel the joy of the game, the power of community, and the beauty of simply being seen. ♥️✨

A year ago today, I was hosting my first group tour to Japan
and everything changed 🇯🇵

Not my first trip
but the one where my life shifted
from corporate to entrepreneurship

And what a journey it has been

The most special part of it all
is that I was surrounded by some of the most important people in my life
who trusted me to take them across the world
without even knowing they were part of my transition

So many lessons
so much growth
so much faith

I’m forever grateful to everyone who said yes
and created this unforgettable experience with me

Japan, you were only the beginning
and this was only half the experience
