We capped off this year’s MLK Weekend of Service by taking our brothers on a journey through Downtown Douglasville, highlighting the growth, progress, and continued investment taking place throughout our city @cityofdouglasvillega. Along the way, they were able to experience firsthand the vibrant network of Black-owned businesses that shape and strengthen our downtown community.

We’re deeply grateful to our partners at @gradyhealth for showing up and providing on-site prostate cancer screenings, along with critical education around a disease that continues to disproportionately impact our communities. Access, awareness, and action matter.

Special thanks to @gritzbrunchbar_ and @forgetmenotsgifts for opening their doors and participating in this year’s inaugural experience, and to our friends at @supportblackcreatorsnow for joining us and amplifying their powerful mission in support of Black creatives.

It was a beautiful day rooted in purpose, intentionality, and uplift.

Service Through Discipline.

This Saturday, we kick off MLK Weekend the way it was always meant to be honored — through movement, unity, and service.

Fit To The Nines is an in-house bootcamp experience designed to bring together the Divine Nine and community leaders under one roof to move with purpose and give back with intention.

We’re prioritizing the discipline of the body, the responsibility of leadership, and our commitment to community through a Coat & Crown Drive in support of those navigating the colder months.

When we say “Crowns,” we mean more than symbolism.
We’re calling on you to donate caps, fedoras, beanies, knit hats, and headwear of all kinds—items that provide warmth, dignity, and confidence to those in need. A crown is protection. A crown is identity. A crown is respect.

All Black Attire is encouraged — not for fashion, but as a unified expression of solidarity, presence, and purpose.
One color. One mission. One community.

I can still remember watching Thanksgiving breeze by while all I could think about was #BayouClassic back home in #NewOrleans. How you showed up for this weekend meant everything when you were trying to leave the right impression on friends coming in from every corner of #Louisiana.

These were the weekends that sparked the curiosity in many of us to even consider an #HBCU as our next chapter. A lot of my closest friends went on to do incredible things at places like @southernu_br, @grambling1901, and so many other storied institutions across the nation.

I’m grateful to still be creating pieces that reconnect my people to their roots — to the moments, the memories, and the chapters that brought them the most joy.

As we celebrate this Bayou Classic Weekend, I also want to invite everyone to come shop with us today in honor of #SmallBusinessSaturday. We’re offering 40% off hats in-store and online, with a friendly reminder to please allow 10–14 days for completion and delivery due to this high-volume season.
