POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We are happy to share that our comrade Tilottama B./ @tilottama_ . will be sharing their long-standing inquiries through their upcoming publication, "Lokma," a recollection of forgotten memories of ancestral recipes related to care, resources, and deep ecological concerns. This publication is one of the pioneering non-fiction works from Bangladesh, the land to which Tilottama belongs.

Glad to present "Lokma" - a bengali research comic at the Indie Comic Festival/ @indiecomixfest in @goetheinstitut_newdelhi This publication is the first part of a series that they refer to as "Porbo/Chal Seddho."

We are also excited to present two more books from our collection: “A Letter from Sweet Potato" - a personal dialogue in solidarity with Jibanando Das’s unpublished text, exploring themes of selflessness and imposed alienation. And "Sabitri’s Sewing Box" - a dialogic comic that explores interpersonal bonding between generations and the journey to find inner strength through mutual harmony.

If you are in town, we would love for you to join us in supporting the independent publication.

Long Live!

Open Day(s), initiated by Tilottama B./ @abyakto_
13th & 14th December 2025 at Mool Studio

Since last weekend, Tilottama has been moving through a slow process of observing the hints and possibilities emerging around her ongoing curiosity with জমিন/zameen. As the process evolves, she finds herself entering a space where presence becomes an intimate act—one that moves beyond immediate gestures and settles into a quieter interiority. In this unfolding, she begins to sense possibilities that had long remained underneath. This pause has allowed certain unsettled hints to surface with their own temporality—reflections shaped by a disoriented climate, by an unavoidable suspension that returns each time she thinks of zameen as a subtle, quiet form of the “non-conforming.”

Over the past week, she has been reading from an extensive text on care and concern for জমিন/zameen, and she wishes to continue this practice. As part of this engagement, she will extend her reading in collaboration with Camera Commune, watching together Ritwik Ghatak’s film Subarnarekha on 13th December.

On 14th December, Tilottama will continue the conversation by sharing the latest entry from her journal, in assembly with Aarohan/ @aarohan0_0 and Kaur Chimuk/ @mx.kaurchimuk . Your presence would help the gathering reconnect even more. If you are in town and have time to join with us, it would be truly warming and hopeful.

Looking forward

জমিন/zameen, sharing in process with Tilottama B. | 7 to 14.12.25 at Mool.

can an encharged mark raise into the wind and drift a little, in out of place?

can it stay yet and gently touch the wind across its skin?

when soaked in rain, can it dissolve into mud-moist-pulp—become one indistinguishable one?

can it whisper to the river—“let me float, let me cross from shore to shore…”?

can it glide beyond the shade of a tree with a soft detour?

does it ‘pause’ to rest for a moment while walking along the paddy-field ridge?

does it sigh—long, tired, worn-out? Perhaps…

perhaps a marking is free to be whatever it wishes today!

...with these loose, wandering thoughts, i—Tilottama—will spend the next few days with you all.

Fekri by Tilottama B. ( @tilottama_ )

This is a story reclaiming the strength that evolves from a corner. During the enforced lockdown, Tilottama felt compelled to translate their interpersonal experience through this silent visual monologue where time and sensitivity overlap.

..

Thank you for connecting with us, zmayat. We are eager to participate in both formal and informal gatherings. If you feel that we could contribute to your suggested avenue, please feel free to share—we would be happy to join. Our publication is available for sharing around the globe, so if you are interested in collecting it, please DM us here or email us at hasfact@gmail.com.

(As a cooperative, we are trying to grow slowly like a rhizome. We organize different layers of dialogue in the form of workshops and exchanges; most of our zines and publications emerge from these interpersonal experiences.)

#BodyinIsolation | Meditation 10

Sitting in one place for a long time.

Looking at the pages of the book. Keep thinking about one or two familiar-unfamiliar words. Close my eyes and wander across old memories. Keep some stored carefully in the parietal lobe. Some I try to dramatically change by altering their sequence to create my own script for desire. Then, there are some held fast in the frontal lobe…
Bathing overlong, gently caressing the hair follicles on my body while thinking about something else. Lying in bed for a long time, espying the rotating-fan set the curtain gently swaying, the slight light in one corner that holds a dusty table, the folds of the cloth and the lines of the hand.
