📕 Book Review 📕 This was a very entertaining popcorn thriller which mixes reality TV satire with a classic locked-room murder mystery. It’s a fast-paced page turner which I read very quickly. It’s different to my usual thriller and I did enjoy a less dark and serious read for a change. The chapters alternate between the locked room set-up in the airport and flashbacks to the production of the TV reality show, Love Synced which is a dating show for which AI finds your “perfect partner” through analysing your every move and word. These alternating chapters kept me wanting to read “just one more.” There are twists aplenty in this one and every character is suspicious in one way or another which kept me guessing all the way through to the very end. If you’re looking for a thriller which is bit of fun, some laugh out loud dark comedy and a quick read, this one is for you! Thank you to @ace.book.tours and @lukechilts for having me on this tour ✨ What was the last book you read that made you laugh out loud? #thrillerbooks #bookrecommendations #bookreview #reading #books

I'm starting the next book tour off from @ace.book.tours and @ellis_hart_author Thank you to both for having me on the tour and to Ellis for my free copy of the book. This one has creepy moments that work well for spooky season, giving 'just one more chapter' feels. Scroll across for blurb and to find details of other accounts on the tour! The House That Held Her is available on Amazon, and Kindle inc KU. ~ Blurb ~ Margot Bennett thought she was leaving the past behind when she moved to the quiet town of Mount Dora, Florida. A fresh start, a charming old house, and the promise of peace—until she unearths something sinister buried beneath the floorboards of Hawthorn Manor. As Margot digs deeper into the manor's history, she finds herself tangled in the chilling legacy of George and Cecilia Hawthorn, a once-beloved couple whose presence still lingers in ways no one dares to explain. Nightmares bleed into reality. Puzzles stretch throughout the sleepy city. And the deeper she searches, the more she realizes the truth—no one is safe here. Someone is watching—always. As the house's walls close in, Margot must decide how much she is willing to sacrifice to answer one question: "What is the cost of keeping the dead quiet?"

Thankyou again to @ace.book.tours for having me on the tour and to @charlottedolmanwriteractor for the free ARC copy to read and review “New Year’s Eve, 1999 Should auld acquaintance be forgot? When Rachel threatens to expose her affair with Jeremy to their entire friendship group, including his fiancée, he becomes determined to get rid of her before she can destroy his perfectly manicured life. March 2023 Twenty-three years later, Jeremy rarely thinks about Rachel. He thinks it’s over and done with. But he’s about to find out that it didn’t end there… Six estranged university friends are summoned to a manor house for the reading of Rachel’s will. As the weekend unfolds, old memories, grudges and deeply buried secrets resurface, culminating in an explosive and deadly reunion. But why have they really been brought there? And more importantly, who will be allowed to leave?” I read this toward the end of my holiday a few weeks ago and there was this guy I always saw around the pool, could tell he looked after himself but he also knew it, and everyday he would walk around in the same swagger style as Connor McGregor. I affectionately named him …… DICK! It was like the same guy was in this book, only in the book he was called Jeremy, someone I’d put in the category of, Prat! But still, however a brilliant character, as they all were on this story. This had a really great plot line with multiple twists I didn’t see coming at all, it was sinister, disturbed and reeked of total revenge. Addictive and gripping, a super debut Charlotte I shall look forward to reading more of your work. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #arc #review #bookreview #bookstagram #acebooktours

AVAILABLE TO READ NOW MY THOUGHTS 💭💭💭💭 A big thank you to @ace.book.tours @nothing.beats.a.good.book @lukechilts for having me on the tour. A new author for me and definitely not my usual type of read, but I’m so glad I took a chance on this one. The story moves between the run-up to a wedding in the past and the present day, where the characters find themselves at an airport, and I really enjoyed the way the two timelines slowly come together. There are plenty of unexpected surprises along the way, and I liked the fact that no one really stood out as the obvious culprit, which kept me guessing about who was telling the truth and who could actually be trusted. There’s a great dark comedy element running throughout, which isn’t something I usually go for, but it worked really well here and gave the story a fun, slightly quirky edge. It’s an easy, entertaining read with a good dose of mystery, plenty of twists and a real who done it feel. Some parts were definitely a little far-fetched, but sometimes you just need a book that you can escape into without taking everything too seriously. I found this one great fun and think it would make a perfect holiday read something light, twisty and entertaining to get lost in. A really enjoyable surprise from a new to me author. A fun, darkly comic whodunit and a solid read for me.

AD PR-PRODUCT 📚BOOK REVIEW📚 I’m kicking off the blog tour today with @ace.book.tours and @nothing.beats.a.good.book for #TheHouseThatHeldHer by @ellis_hart_author The blurb… Margot Bennett thought she was leaving the past behind when she moved to the quiet town of Mount Dora, Florida. A fresh start, a charming old house, and the promise of peace—until she unearths something sinister buried beneath the floorboards of Hawthorn Manor. As Margot digs deeper into the manor’s history, she finds herself tangled in the chilling legacy of George and Cecilia Hawthorn, a once-beloved couple whose presence still lingers in ways no one dares to explain. Nightmares bleed into reality. Puzzles stretch throughout the sleepy city. And the deeper she searches, the more she realizes the truth—no one is safe here. Someone is watching—always. As the house’s walls close in, Margot must decide how much she is willing to sacrifice to answer one question: “What is the cost of keeping the dead quiet?” My thoughts… This is a great creepy book to read at spooky season, it is a perfect blend of haunted house, horror and psychological thriller. The first half of the book sets the scene very well as the main FMC, Margot is left alone in Hawthorn Manor and experiences ghostly going’s on she decides to investigate. Although the town’s locals seem reluctant to talk about the history of the manor she does finds out some disturbing facts about the previous owners. The pace and plot became more intense about halfway through the book and there are some definite ‘jump scare’ moments in this as well as some good plot twists. I actually think this could make a great film or short series. #spookyseasonalreads #horrofiction #blogtour #bookreview

✨️ Book Review: I Think We Should Kill Other People ✨️ This book was on my wishlist, so when I spotted a tour for it, I jumped at the chance. And it did NOT disappoint. I absolutely ADORED it! 😍 I love a closed door mystery, and this was such a fun, fresh take. The opening line had me laughing and the blend of humour and mystery kept me hooked. I raced through it. This has everything I want in a murder mystery and more... ✅ Unique concept ✅ Humour and wit ✅ Twists and turns ✅ Great pacing ✅ Gripping plot ✅ Romance? You'll have to read it to find out! 📚 Summary: Hazel and Marc were paired on a new reality TV show in which AI matches hopeful lovers based on its algorithms. But when it came time to say I Do on camera, Hazel leaves her perfect match at the altar, his family furious and the TV production in jeopardy. Now all she wants to do is fly home. Instead, she's trapped in an isolated airport that's been ground to a halt by a snow storm... with her ex and his obnoxiously rich family. But when they start turning up dead, a jilted lover is the least of Hazel's worries - there's a serial killer to catch 🔪❄️ The story is told through two timelines: the present and the lead up to the wedding. I thought this worked fantastically. Also, I know she's AI but I bloody loved CILLA (no pun intended). I had such a brilliant time with this book and cannot wait to read more from LM Chilton! 🖤 A huge thank you to @lukechilts for the copy and to @nothing.beats.a.good.book at @ace.book.tours for having me on the book tour. 💕 #Bookstagram #bookreview #murdermystery #thrillerbook #booktour

✨Book Tour Review✨ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A funny & thrilling fast paced murder mystery! Hazel jilts her groom Marc at the altar fleeing for the airport hoping never to see him or his horrendous family again. However, her plane is delayed and due to a blizzard she ends up stuck, what could be worse?… The only other people stuck are the no so helpful steward & Marc and his family. Via flashbacks we see Hazel & Marc paired up in a futuristic dating show that used AI to predict their compatibility to match them up with over 90% suitability, how did it go so wrong? Back in the airport the bodies start piling up, who has a motive to kill? Why did Hazel run out on Marc? What other secrets and motives are in play? Who can she really trust? I really loved Hazel and despite the murdery theme there were some real laugh out loud moments. A nice twisty thriller with plenty of suspects to keep you engaged & guessing, I ploughed through this in an afternoon, not wanting to put it down until the mystery was solved! #booktour #thrillerbooks #thriller #freebookreview #murdermystery @ace.book.tours @nothing.beats.a.good.book @lukechilts
