Six years ago, I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis ( detail in caption within video ).
Spinal stenosis is something that is degenerative in most cases it is said to be uncurable. There are mild to severe cases which call for different levels of healing. For myself, I’ve tried many things, but it is very difficult because my level of spinal stenosis is somewhat high. Every morning calls for me to do a form of functional training mixed with yoga as well as breathing exercises; it is very uncomfortable to sit stand or lay down first thing in the morning, so I have to go through a particular routine that helps ease the pain. After five years of trying multiple forms of healing or pain relief I finally spoke to My Brother @devorenab when I saw his inversion clips/inversion boots. Prior to seeing him with these I’ve seen it on TV, but was never interested in trying it, I would dead hang which helped with the decompression of my spine by allowing gravity, using a pull-up bar, too decompress my lower back. When hanging upside down. Out of everything I’ve tried the inversion clips seem to help the most. It is a temporary relief because the moment I sit for too long, the pain comes back. If you follow the captions within the video, I give a little more detail. If you have lower back or in my case spinal stenosis, this is a good remedy, but be very careful as I stated in the video, it may be too excessive, depending on the level of stenosis you may have, so as always safety first, and have a buddy near if it is the first time you’re attempting this. Please let me know how it works for you or your experience when attempting this.🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾

We talked about staying grounded, centered, and unshakable. Not letting your emotions run you, learning to read the room, and understanding that adapting doesn't mean losing yourself.

One thing that stuck with me was this: people can't always receive what they've never experienced. Sometimes happiness, love, or peace can feel foreign to someone, and they push it away instead of embracing it.

If we don't learn to adapt, life will keep teaching us the same lessons.

Observe yourself. Read the room. Move with purpose.

What do y'all think? Can you stay true to yourself while still adapting to the people and environments around you?

Got the opportunity to work alongside bro this past weekend, and I was able to gain some insight into his life, experiences, and the lessons he’s learned along the way.

One question I asked him was: Do you think we, as human beings, can master our emotions?

His response? “We can’t master our warning signals.”

That got me thinking. We may not always control what we feel or the signals our bodies send us, but can we learn to recognize them, understand them, and choose how we respond?

Sometimes, growth starts with observing yourself before you act.

What do y’all think? Can we master our emotions, or can we only learn to manage our responses?👀💭
