POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Aaaaand my workshop series, NIGHTIES & NIGHTMARES closes with Videography solos of my students. Thank you @luscious_maven for hosting the workshop and giving us this space and platform to PLAY! For some of my students, this was their first time performing for the camera! And everyone brought their own style, characters, and frightful delights! For those that didn’t make it to the videography, I’m still proud of you learning at the workshops! Thank you to my students for your commitment and hard work to making that choreo come to life. You KILLED it 😆
Now let’s do it again….

We’re absolutely stunned at how beautiful @acodedwaltz’s (Teekay) solo was at ARTISTS IN MOTION last weekend. This was a personal piece dedicated to her mom who had passed of cancer last year. And she shared such a beautiful story on stage with her flow and choreography. We’re so honored to be a part of this with you.

DMLA’s Competition/Performance team helps students develop their creativity and storytelling skills on stage. We also provide performance opportunities to help our team members grow as artists and performers. For more information, DM us!

I had so much fun performing at Artists in Motion @uspolechampions . Sharing the stage with wonderful humans who do badass shit is my favorite hobby!

Some dances come together easily from inception to execution… this was not one of those dances lol. From music to choreo to costume: everything about this changed several times over 😂.

But through it all, the comp team @dynamic_movement_la was incredibly supportive and uplifting. They are honestly the reason I kept pushing through when it felt like it was time to throw in the towel. Thank you @chrisseadance @yvettetario96 @irontoinvert @danser_la_vie_boheme @acodedwaltz for your notes, smiles, and “it’s okay”s. Also, you all did INCREDIBLE in your performances and getting to witness the process was awesome. Special thanks to @chrisseadance for all your guidance and suggestions. It wouldn’t have been what it was without you!

The perfectionist in me wants to point out all the ways I could’ve (should’ve) done better, but today the quieter voice that says “be proud of what you did do” wins. So here is my imperfect performance that I am (mostly 😉) proud of.

I found treasures on my way to @zoomcoffeeroaster today! I believe these are muscadine wine grapes. I am no expert, but I can conclude that they are grapes of some sort. 🍇 They tasted nice, but a little unripe. Yay! #wildgrapes #everydayadventurer #indiefantasyauthor #indieauthorlife #august2026

Yeah I do nails sometimes too. I’ll do your nails too when I manage to find a sustainable place to do so in the LA area.

May the 4th be with you A TRIBUTE TO TILLY! Thank you to my students for coming (despite the rain!) to this pop up class to learn Tilly’s Star Wars Choreo in remembrance of her. It meant a lot to me to have u all there. I did make some modifications for myself and my students and allowed students to freestyle time after the choreo.
Special thanks to @dynamic_movement_la for hosting this pop up class.

Today in court her murd er-er managed yet another delay in the hearing. He’s still out and partying like nothing has happened. Let’s collectively hope and pray for #justicefortilly as it’s been very disappointing thus far.

60 never felt like this 💫

What started as a birthday turned into a full month of love, laughter, and memories I’ll carry with me forever. From dinners, lunches, and brunches… to spa days, photoshoots, the Getty, and poolside moments—it was all beyond anything I could have imagined.

I feel so incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people. Thank you to my wonderful husband Austin, my parents, Melissa, Sean, Linda, Desi, Morgan, Jessica, Debbie P, Suwasit, Margarita, Moo, Chrissy, Debbie W., Natasha, Monica, Rika, TK, Anzu, Steffanie, Joanna, Janna, and Heather—you all made me feel like an absolute queen this month 👑💕

A very special thank you to Austin for the beautiful party at our home, and to Chrissy for organizing the entire LA weekend—hosting me, creating the most gorgeous garden dinner, and capturing a super fun pole photoshoot I’ll never forget.

Feeling deeply grateful, very loved, and more excited than ever for what’s ahead 💫✨
