What happens when you combine the Middle Ages with skateboarding? ⚔️🛹 …we asked ourselves.

Fast forward 3 months later: this Saturday, we hosted the 4th edition of the Dings Skate Contest. Every year, the event gets a new theme. Every time a little weirder. This year’s theme: Middle Ages. That meant plenty of sword battles, fun challenges, costumes - and people coming together for one simple reason: to have fun and celebrate skateboarding. Oh what a day to remember!

Thanks @dings.skaten crew for making it happen 💓and everyone involved from skating to cheering for this epic event! 🛹 And, special thanks to our partners for supporting local skate culture here in Munich: @actionsportsjobdotcom, @anuell_official, @marshall, @stadtwerkemuenchen, @tilmansbiere

Until next time!

In 4 weeks the 27th edition of the largest gathering in snowboarding takes place.

Coined the “Woodstock of Snowboarding” it’s pure magic, defined by its mantra of ride with friends, is set in a north facing powder magnet resort called STUBEN am Arlberg, Austria.

If you have read this far, and have never been to the LBC, then bloody hell get you ass there. 630 Woodstockers can’t be wrong. The event does not disappoint and people travel in from most continents and countries in the world. All ages, all sexes, all stances.

Bring you kids and their grandparents. Bring your big turns, back county mojo, come early.

For the early birds…DM us asap if you wish to join Friday 10th : Ride with Legends //// Dani kiwi Meier & Tom Burt. Yes, this wild wisdom duo with their wealth of knowledge are back to share a day of perspectives. Friday 9am Tal station, STUBEN… Remember, you must DM the LBC team via IG to register. It’s first come first served. There is limited room, so be quick. Yes, your kids are welcome. Everyone considering joining (refers to 10th only) must be full equipped with pieps, shovel, probe, water, snacks and the willingness to contribute as well as learn. The plan for the day will be decided on the morning; weather and snow dependent. Good vibes guaranteed, along with some special gifting from the 2 legends to those who make it in.
