What's your message to politicians this election year? Working people have told us loud and clear: they can't afford another three years of a Luxon-led Government. When they go to the polls, they'll be voting for parties that protect workers and their unions ✊

We don’t have to know everything about politics to recognise what we’ve endured over the last three years. In my view, this government has normalised institutionalised racism, treated Māori aspirations as a threat, and used division to score political points. We deserve leadership that respects our people, our reo and Te Tiriti. I’m ready for change. Are you? Enrolments close 25th of October, Voting opens 26th of October and closes on 7th of November. Last week, @nz_psa released a report in collaboration with @dentalforallnz about community dental workers' perspectives on public oral healthcare in Aotearoa. This report and kōrero shared at the launch event shows that there is a huge need—and opportunity—to strengthen existing services for tamariki and expand them to deliver Dental for All. As one speaker said, "We know we have a model that works, all we need to do now is build on it". Ngā mihi nui to @nz_psa for this important piece of research, to all the workers who shared their expertise for this, to our fantastic speakers and everyone else who came along to the launch event in Ōtepoti. Read the report at the link in our bio or dentalforall.nz/research! 📸 photos by @lilywarring

I’m always inspired by the dreamers and schemers, the māra kai darlings, the whānau raising connected confident indigenous babies, my queer and trans hunnies, the kaupapa movers, the mahi dogs, mātauranga nerds, all the people in my life who remind me how hopeful, how delicious and how beautiful our world can be when we move with curiosity and compassion. We have opportunities to action and resource the kind of world that we want to see for our people. One of the most impactful moments for me was witnessing the planting of seedlings by the next generation at Ihumātao in 2019, affirming their whakapapa connection to their land, and the future they intended to have on it. That’s what inspired this poster. When we plant seeds strategically and with intention, we support them to grow towards a more hopeful future for us all. It may not be the only path towards hope, but I do believe that exercising our right to participate in the election of our political leaders is a meaningful way that we can help to shape our society. 🌊If you haven’t enrolled to vote for this year’s general election here in Aotearoa, you must do so by midnight on October 25. That’s next Sunday y’all. 🌊 In my bio there’s two links: ⭐️ website where you can enrol/check your details are up to date ⭐️ free download link for this poster!!! may it inspire you and your darlings x Arohanuuuuuui ❤️ @actionstationnz Authorised by ActionStation Aotearoa, PO Box 19069, Wellington 6141

TĀIKI E! TOGETHER FOR THE VOTE 📣✅ More than ever we need to band together and combine our voices for a bright future, but only 62% of our youth aged 18-24 are enrolled to vote. That might seem good enough but that means there are 166,747 people who won't have a say after October 25! YOUR VOTE COUNTS. ✍️ Enroll online at @vote.nz 🔍 Learn about how the election works in Aotearoa and the policies that matter to you with @policy.nz Huge mihi to @actionstationnz for organising a nationwide push for voter enrollment. The first slide of this post was created by their incredible team. 🔗 All links in bio!
