OCA Thrive Conference and Gala 2023

I had the valuable opportunity to attend both the Ontario Chiropractic Association Thrive Conference and Gala thereafter, in Niagara Falls. As a member of the OCA Student and New Graduate Advisory Council, I attended a meeting to start off the weekend, followed by several informative workshops the next day at the Thrive Conference that really got me thinking about my future as a chiropractor. Post-conference, the OCA annual Gala was a wonderful experience, a huge congratulations to all of the award winners and elected OCA board members this year!

I found the weekend put everything into perspective and was a reminder of the bigger picture, which can be hard to visualize in module 6! I am looking forward to more educational and networking opportunities within the Chiropractic field in the near future. Although I am not yet a doctor, as my name tag suggested, time flies and the onus is on me to take in as much as possible to become an astute chiropractor.
