I am so grateful to the volunteers who came out this past weekend to help collect signatures!#weloveourvolunteers

To keep this grassroots effort powered up please take a moment to visit the link in my bio and donate. Your dollars help fund our efforts on the ground and make sure our team is equipped to talk to folks across the city about my vision for a Better DC for All!

Big shout out to Ward 7 and @geri_ave for being so welcoming last night and hosting an amazing meet & greet for Karim! There were great questions and good discussions. If you also want to host a meet and greet for Karim, click the link in our bio to get involved! Thank you @salimadofo for being our camera man and putting together this video!

Karim is a fair election candidate, meaning he is not accepting any PAC or corporate money. Your donations could go a long way! For DC residents your $100 becomes $600. Please click the bio link to contribute!

This is a photo of @au_wpi’s WeLead Class of 2021 ✨. I am so thankful to be apart of this dynamic cohort of women leaders.

The WeLead training program at American University is committed to closing the gender gap in political leadership and provides practical training to women that are inspired to become apart of the political process.

The #WeLead2022 application is now open and closes on July 1st. Link in my bio!

This was the end, but we’re only getting started. 💋

Over the course of the last year, I was chosen to participate in American University’s We Lead Program. An entire program filled with amazing, inspiring, empowering women, all done virtually. We met, bonded, and learned together through a Zoom screen. Today, I was able to hug my new friends and see first hand just how amazing, inspiring, and empowering each of them are. This day filled up my soul and I will be forever proud of this cohort. I cannot wait to support these women and their futures, and I cannot wait to see the phenomenal things we’ll all do.
