Can anyone guess what I’ve been working on?!

@_stephenspencer has released a fabulous new song all about Dandeloosha, and I couldn’t help myself!

Here are a few snippets. I almost prefer the scruffy sketch at the end to be honest. Do you? You can see how I used photo reference of the stages of dandelion growth, to create the characters at the end.
Come back tomorrow for the finished illo and another one of those process films that shows you how it’s done!

My orange tom Tiger, would eat 24/7 if I let him. He’s a bottomless pit. Is it just ginger cats?
Happy #internationalcatday !

Well I finally got to finish the piece for all you Trunk Elliot fans! Sorry to keep you waiting!!
Thanks to @_stephenspencer for the brilliant inspiration.
There might be red swings next….

Artwork done with digital brushes on an iPad Pro, using Procreate (which has that fab little process recording thingy!)

Sneaky peaky Trunk Elliot progress! I thought you might like to see the different stages that go into creating a world for a character. Interpreting @_stephenspencer ‘s fabulous song has been the most fun! This is the part where Trunk Elliot’s baby octopus has goed into the sea, the forest in the sea. Here, I’ve already worked out the layout but have so many decisions about colours to make. So colourish!
Stay tuned for more soon!

Doing some procrastination scrolling one day, this lovely little song by @_stephenspencer stopped me in my tracks. “Please, please, please can I illustrate this?” I commented, and people seemed to agree.
I sent him a message, and Stephen said YES!!!
Here’s the result.

I’m definitely feeling like the grumpy one. Or maybe the completely befuddled one. You?

This lot hang around on Pigeon Street, strutting their stuff or arguing about who gets the last piece of sausage roll. Personally I think they are a criminal mastermind organisation.

Did a few doodles for my papier maché session with the amazing @hoonbutton tonight, and I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!
Tiger will be getting his very own bauble 😻.
I had to keep in mind that the medium means things will have to be a little chunkier than I usually draw. I haven’t done any crafts in ages, so it’ll be a creative refresh!

(Pic 3 is a Moomin notepad, with creamy Castle Art Soft Series pencils, on a Mark Hearld fabric covered armchair and one of Lush Designs most magnificent cat cushions!)

And to celebrate, it’s got a fabulous new look. Loving the zing and pizazz! Thank you so much to both @stevesmallmanbooks and the team at Little Tiger who have worked so hard behind the scenes 👏👏👏
