What a special night last Tuesday! Raising money for scleroderma research @srfcure ! It was an extra special night celebrating @johnstamos with the Bob Saget Legacy Award! 💙 I feel so blessed to have so many kind and generous people dedicated to finding a cure for scleroderma!

What a night!!! Over $1 mil was raised for the @srfcure and we all had the honor of presenting @johnstamos with the Bob Saget Legacy Award! It truly was a special night and I know Bob was looking down beaming with tears in his eyes, so grateful that everyone continues to show up for him and this cause that meant so much to him… Bob’s goal was to help eradicate Scleroderma, the awful disease that took the life of his sister, Gay, in 1994. Thanks to him and to the incredible efforts of the Scleroderma Research Foundation over the past several decades, we are now closer to a cure than ever!

since Bob passed, I took over one of his duties, booking incredible comedians for Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine. This year, I asked the brilliantly hilarious @fortunefeimster, @themattfriend @jaypharoah, @lisaannwalter, @ronfunches and @sethgreen to perform (Seth co-hosted the auction) and of course, everyone was glad to show up for Bob and for the cause!

And a special thank you. to the endlessly generous @johnmayer for donating an incredible package to one of his shows at Sphere Las Vegas next year- that package alone raised $150,000!

Another special thank you to @therealjeffreyross - truly, the host with the most. You have filled Bob’s hosting duties so effortlessly and so spectacularly, truly nobody could do it better. We all love you so much, Jeff, and are so grateful to you!

Thank you to @susanfeniger for your delicious cuisine, creativity, and hard work every single year. I can’t believe you have done over 45 of these events since the very first Sharon Monsky started the SRF. Bob loved you so much!

Thank you to SRF for trusting me each year to continue to help fight for a cure! That’s the biggest honor of my life to continue to support Bob’s legacy!

Oh wait, one more thing, thank you to my incredible boyfriend, @breckinmeyer for showing up for me, the foundation, and Bob, for the last 3 years. It takes a strong ass incredible man to do what you do!

and thank you, my angels of stepdaughters @aubreysaget and @larasaget - Stepmommy Kelly loves you! And @adam.saget you produce the most incredible event every year, your uncle would be so proud! Love you!

Last night, I had the incredible honor of receiving the Bob Saget Scleroderma Award. To be recognized by a charity that meant so much to my dear friend Bob, and one he worked so tirelessly for, means more to me than I can put into words.

Bob had the biggest heart, and he used it to make a real difference in people’s lives. I miss him every day, and I’m so grateful to be a small part of carrying on his legacy. Special thx to my dear bud, Howie M for giving me award in his shorts. (he thought it was over zoom)

And I’m pretty sure Bob is still with us, because somehow he’s managed to channel his completely inappropriate sense of humor through my son Billy. The kid has Toilet Tourette’s. Poop, pee, fart. All day long.

Thanks, Bob. I love you too.

Another successful #CCHC for @srfcure in the books! NYC Edition was a hit as we raised $1.2mil for research to fight this horrible disease 🦠 still with no cure. Thanks to @adam.saget for his continued trust in me to produce the show with him (from the booth) and @therealjeffreyross for hosting year after year and bringing the best comics to the stage to help raise awareness! Next stop LA!

Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine. THE benefit of the year. The @srfcure was the cause that was most near and dear to Bob’s heart. Every year, every event has been so special… Whether it was Bob hosting it for almost 3 decades (and was an incredibly active board member) And since he passed, being able to still put on the event with the most incredible talent, food, and awareness to finally find a cure for Scleroderma: The horrific disease that took the life of Bob’s sister.

These are some of my favorite photos from past events, and if you scroll to the very end you will see the incredible talent that is performing at this year’s benefit! November 12 at the Edison ballroom in New York City!

And I chose this song because not only is the Bob Saget Legacy Award going to Adam Duritz of @countingcrows , this year, for his generosity and support to the cause over the years. Also, this song was really important to Bob as it helped him get through the loss of his sister in 1994.

I was honored to be included in The Scleroderma Research Foundation’s Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine charity show last week. Huge thank you’s to @kellyrizzo and @adam.saget for inviting me, to everyone who showed up and donated, and to @johnmayer who was beyond kind and gracious for thoughtfully answering all of my amateur guitar questions like, “But how does the fretboard even make any sense??”

This was Bob Saget’s wonderful event every year and very surreal not to have him there—I miss that guy constantly. But he would be so delighted to know that 1.3 million dollars were raised to find a cure for scleroderma, and also to see how much love there was in the room for him. Truly a special night. Thank you again, @srfcure!

I think John and I both cried a little accepting the Bob Saget Legacy Award in front of Bob’s family and all the doctors and patients he worked so hard for three decades to help. Shout out to the great comedians, volunteers, donors and everybody who came and supported our fundraiser in LA this week. Everything was delicious and I was honored to emcee again. In one night we raised a record breaking 1.3 million to stop this gut wrenching disease that mostly affects women. Long live Bob Saget! Short live Scleroderma! Follow @srfcure 💪🏽

Norman Lear was 101 years old and still partying !

After Jada’s infamous Oscars incident I wrote a magazine editorial about my personal experience with alopecia. Norman called me, told me he enjoyed the article, and offered me his hat.

Once when I told Norman that Gilbert Gottfried was sick he said “Laughing adds time to your life and Gilbert gave me years”.

Long live King Lear. He added years to our lives.

Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine! Such an incredible night to remember benefiting the @srfcure - over $1.2 million was raised last night for Scleroderma research! It’s such an honor to be able to help continue Bob’s legacy. This cause was his life’s work, and he was a fearless champion in trying to find a cure for this horrific disease. And every year the SRF is closer to finding a cure!! Thank you all who came out to support!
