POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What do you get when you insert an elder millennial introvert deep into heart of The South? A surprisingly great time. Though I would venture to say it was undoubtedly because of the company.
I can’t express enough thanks for the hospitality from @adamgreywest & @mxillxe for opening up your home and allowing me stay. The added days for leisure before and after the conference was so nice.
What began as a follow on instagram has grown into a deep friendship that just doesn’t seem common. Yet, created the best time had and talks about life, goals and family. All that time farting around the South, taking in the sights and bites. A special thank you for stopping at in n out at 10:15 in the morning because I told you I wouldn’t be able to have the chance again for a while! 🤣From church with the whole family to backyard burgers with your neighbors, I’m forever grateful, man. Even if the weather is cursed. Thank you everything while I was down with y’all. It was the best time.

Moments from my time covering the Empower conference in Nashville, TN.

I was stoked to be hired back by @adamgreywest alongside fellow creative @themrpope of @riverlightstudios to as we handled video content for One Ascent. We worked tandem with @nextlevelavl who handled all stage & live production for the event and they were absolutely stellar and fun to work with. Lots of great food and drink in Nashville and even better company. 3 legends and pillars in the creative & production realms within the South. Two full media days of nailing our shots and making fun of each other. Would do it again with this crew without thinking twice.

Every morning getting out of the car, David Wilson said the same thing.

“Have a good and godly day.”

Benji and Brady Wilson heard it so many times it became second nature. Now they’re passing it to their own kids the same way. Same phrases. Same intention. A reminder before the day ever gets hard of who you belong to and how you’re called to show up.

That’s what a phrase repeated with purpose does. It sets the tone. It becomes a standard. And it outlives the person who started it.

For leaders, the question isn’t just what you say in meetings. It’s what you say on the way out the door.

What tone are you setting for your people every single day?

Today was such a sweet Sunday. After 14 years, @benjiwilson1 has officially “retired” from the worship ministry.

I don’t have adequate words for how special Benji is to me - beyond just my husband. Getting a front row seat to his worship week after week has been so sweet for our family, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to get to experience it with him next to me! I’m so proud of who you are and to stand beside you every day, B. I love you!

And for all of the sweet words, cards, and videos, thank you. Thank you all for loving us so well the last 14 years. ♥️

(I know I’m biased, but @thenatebsmith you have some big shoes to fill - we have no doubt you will!)

A viral post fades. A story that points someone to Jesus doesn’t.

That’s the distinction Brady Wilson was sharing that led to this conversation. Not that social media is bad. But that it was never meant to be the legacy.

The goal is to create things with a shelf life. Stories that connect people to something bigger than a scroll.

What are you creating right now that will still matter in ten years?

Rickwood Field. America’s oldest baseball park. And yesterday, Top Gun owned it.

Shutout. Dominant. The kind of day you don’t forget.

There’s something about playing on a field where legends played that makes everything feel bigger. These guys showed up and made sure the day matched the moment.

Proud to be there to capture it.

Thank you so much to everyone that came out to this year’s Creating Creators Meetup (in spite of the weather). It was so great seeing so many creatives connecting and I can’t wait to see all that comes from these new connections.

Special thank you to @amfirstcu @riverlightstudios @colepeveymusic @austinwhereabouts @sallumsphotography @siluriabrewing & @jpope702 for making this even happen.

Let’s do it again.

Link in bio to more photos from the event.

The best giggle instigator, the no filter advice giver, the ultimate cat dad and the best man I know. We are so thankful for you and the way that you love us. Happy Father’s Day to the real MVP. 💕
