Day 23 of the @tattooctober_history and @tat_tober drawing challenge. Today’s theme was ‘Military’ and the tattoo legend was Percy Waters (1888-1952). Percy was born in Anniston Alabama but spent a large part of his life in Detroit, where he moved after apparently being told he had to leave town for tattooing the wrong person. We’ve all been there. In Detroit Percy built a huge tattoo supply business. He is also one of the great machine builders and worked on many different styles of frames. He returned to Anniston later on in life and set up the tattoo supply company from there.

If you like this design and want to give this little lady a home it’s too easy!
