@dorset_divide 1st finisher 🥇

Every year @harrywhiles puts on this wonderful event, it has the best atmosphere out of any ultra I’ve been to, and an incredible route too. Thanks to harry and all the volunteers and photographers for all the work they’ve put in.

I had unfinished business after last year, and was determined to finish and finish fast. I battled it out with @adampalin for the whole race. It was incredibly taxing both mentally and physically to try and not slip back on every climb or resupply. He’s a talented rider who puts a lot of work into his prep and strategy that makes him difficult to beat! We have developed a friendly rivalry since Dales this year and It was fun to add another chapter to that story.

We had the added bonus of bumping into ultra legend @allegaertk- who participated in the very first event I dotwatched many years ago and I credit partly for me getting into this sport to begin with! It’s a small world.

Thanks to Harry, my friends, family and sponsors for the ongoing support. Nice to finally get a win and gives me some momentum going into my last race of the season. 💃🥇

Had an absolutely amazing time at @dorset_divide 20 hours of head to head racing with @adampalin and @ge.orge made for an unforgettable ride. Great type 2 fun and memories to last.

Unfortunately, at around 4am I fell asleep on an off-road descent and hit the deck pretty hard. Despite all the motivation to keep going, my body made me to call it a day.

Shout out to @harrywhiles for coming to pick up what was left of me.

What a day(and a half). I’m absolutely knackered but totally elated at the same time. Chapeau to all the riders for taking on that brute of a course - truly epic.

Will post some more waffle about this soon, but for now - sleep 😴 ✌️

First Woman Home!

After holding a strong lead throughout the night, @_caradixon kept plugging away through the early hours. A quick 5-minute power nap on the ground just before sunrise gave her the tiny reset she needed before taking on the final, toughest section across the hilliest part of the course.

Cara finishes 3rd overall rounding up our first 3 home and sets a new Women’s FKT with an incredible time of 30 hours, 59 minutes!

An absolutely phenomenal performance from start to finish. Huge congratulations, Cara💛❤️

FIRST RIDERS ARE HOME!

After battling wheel to wheel from the very start of the Dorset Divide, George and Adam spent the entire night and into the morning trying to shake each other off. Neither rider could make the decisive break, setting up an incredible finish.

It all came down to the final climb up Portland. @ge.orge emptied the tank with one last all-out effort, sprinting to take First Rider Home. @adampalin crossed the line just 2 minutes later after an epic ride of his own. George Finished in 28 hours 47minutes

What a battle between them. Massive congratulations to both riders on an unforgettable ride from start to finish.

From the moment I decided I was going to marry @lucyperks17 , to now being just one week away from becoming her husband. These people have been there through every conversation, every bit of advice, every laugh, every pint, and every moment in between.
