From standing against the barricade at a @sigurros show at 16 to getting lost in @bjork’s experimentation via tumblr, Icelandic artists expanded and shaped my idea of creativity just as I was developing my own point of view.

No wonder a tiny island of less than 400,000 people could produce art so outsized with a canvas this beautiful. Forever grateful to experience Iceland’s gifts firsthand, alongside my legend @gregdward 🫶

Remember a few years ago when I painted my door red and it went viral… and millions of people absolutely demolished me in the comments? 😆 Well… full circle moment!!! I got to celebrate the @blaireadiebee x @francesvalentine collection at @elyce_arons ‘s home and see the actual red door that inspired me (and her entire gorgeous house) in real life. And let me tell you… it’s even more beautiful in person. Elyce was kind enough to share the exact red paint color with me soooo…..guess who’s painting the door red again? 😆 who’s gonna tell #pooralex 💀
