Meet Ada! This sweet girl has been in foster with @winstonswishes for 776 days (that's a little over 2 years) waiting for her forever family.

Ada is 8 years old, about 50 pounds, and an absolute sweetheart — loyal, affectionate, spunky, and gentle. Her foster calls her "Ada Beans" and "Adalaide," and honestly, both fit. She loves car rides, sniff walks, sunshine naps, and she is VERY food motivated (popcorn, watermelon, pumpkin, pupsicles, and Mumbies Yummies Bison Liver Treats are her top picks).

Ada is housebroken, has great indoor manners, and loves people of all ages. She's crate trained but prefers to free roam next to her people.

A few things her foster wants potential families to know: Ada does best as an only dog — she loves to steal all your attention and be the center of the world, and trust us, she's worth it! She's also on an idiopathic anemia health journey — she received a life-saving blood transfusion in February 2025 and requires frequent blood draws to keep her blood cell counts stable, along with an immunosuppressant medication every other day. Supporting her with proper nutrition, diet, and lifestyle goes a long way. And because of her dog reactivity, a fenced-in yard is strongly recommended.

Winston's Wishes and Ada's foster family would love nothing more than to stay part of her story after adoption — visitation rights would mean the world to them.

Today we’re celebrating two very special milestones: 2 years in foster and Ada’s 9th birthday. 🎂💖✨

Somehow, these last two years have flown by and lasted forever all at once.

Over the last 730 days, Ada has filled our hearts with laughter, love, and enough memories to last a lifetime. She has taught us so much about patience, resilience, and living in the moment.

Watching her grow, heal, trust, and thrive has been one of the greatest privileges. 🫶

While we still dream of the day she finds her perfect happily ever after- we’re incredibly grateful for every day we’ve shared with this special girl and for the joy she’s brought into our lives. 💖

Happy 9th Birthday, Ada. You are loved more than you’ll ever know and you will always have a home here with us. We love you Beans!🥹💕

A special thank you to Ada's foster fam for throwing her the best party!

Meet Ada.
She’s been in foster for over 2 years. After a medical scare she was diagnosed with anemia. It’s under control now and she requires a some supplements and a specific diet but nothing crazy. She gets blood tests done on occasion to ensure she’s still a-ok 👌

Ada is crate trained, muzzle trained, and a certified A+ snuggler.

She loves toys, would do great with dog savvy kiddos, and humans who just want the best cuddle bud ❤️

She is not certain about new canine friends but is very redirectable as her love for treats is unmatched (same girl, I love snacks).
