where are your troubles now?💋

The Kit Kat Klub has officially closed and what an absolute honor it has been to not only be a part of this legendary musical, but to help truthfully represent the horrid past of our world. Being in Cabaret has helped me grow as an artist and individual. I always pride myself on being someone who uses my platform and art to raise awareness and amplify unheard voices and now I much more deeply understand how truly detrimental it is to be complacent as a community and society and only take action when the harm is inflicted upon you or a community you belong to. We MUST educate ourselves, educate our peers, educate our loved ones, and go further and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

I extend so much gratitude and have the utmost respect for my director, Rachel Dawson (@rachelwdawson ) for seeing me, this cast, this story, and pursuing it. You helped make such an impact in just 5 weeks and the work you produced was so complex and beautiful. Special thanks to this perfectly marvelously talented cast for lending your voices, bodies, and overall presence to such a piece. Thank you to the crew for your insanely hard work during every second of the show. Thank you to the creative team for your dedication to making sure this story was told efficiently and keeping us grounded through it all. I thank each and every one of you for your love and support during this time and not a single ounce of it goes unnoticed or unappreciated. What a way to start my Winthrop journey. I was so blessed to be able to work with the cast and crew to put on this beautifully devastating story. Playing lulu gave me such a new perspective on not everything being how it seems. Cabaret is a show that will stick with me for life because of how much care and attention to detail was put into this wonderful production. Cabaret teaches you the danger of being a passive bystander and the cause of it. It teaches you how willfully being ignorant eventually falls back on it. Instead of sitting by be the change that you want to see in the world. Thank you Cabaret for all of the lessons and joy you brought me.

cabaret ✨💋🥂🪭

it’s no secret that this has been my dream show to be a part of, let alone dream role to play. this is such a powerful, devastating, and impactful show, and i am so grateful to have been a part of it. i put everything i had into sally and this show, and i truly believe it paid off. sally means the absolute world to me, and i’m grateful for the opportunity and freedom to make her mine. i’m sad to see this show close, but again i am so grateful and lucky to have something to miss so deeply.

to everyone involved,
i had an absolute blast creating this with each and every one of you. the care that everyone involved put into this production is unmatched, and it truly shone through the performance. i will cherish these memories forever. to share the stage with you all has been an honor and i love each of you dearly.

to those who came and watched,
thank you for laughing and crying with us each and every night. thank you for loving sally as much as i have.

Life is beautiful!

We said goodbye to the Kit Kat Club this weekend and I am so grateful for my experience. I feel so honored to have told such a beautiful and thoughtful story with this cast! Thank you for giving me the space to show a new side of myself and dance my booty off while doing it :)
