Wizard of Oz highlights!

Two red wigs, a blue hockey stick, and 72 shows later…I officially made my Children’s Theatre Company debut. This experience was truly something out of a dream that I wish I never had to wake up from. I loved every moment from the tornados of 10 show weeks, to the excitement of Friday night autographs. I couldn’t have made it to Oz without the people I met along the yellow brick road. So many thoughtful, loving, and courageous people I got to share this with. I simply cannot believe I got to go somewhere over the rainbow with @childrenstheatrecompany. There really is no place like the theater.

Broadway Master Camp! 🤍

words CANNOT express the amount of fun, learning, and happiness that came from BMC. to be surrounded by such amazing, talented, kind, and passionate people for three days (which felt too short!!) is a blessing only God could have given. I didnt really know what to expect going in, but Im so glad I attended and learned.

to @singingathlete , thank you for teaching me to reach a voice I didn’t know I could reach. I always have known there is a better way to hit notes, or healthier, or more comfortable and you got that out of me and I saw you do the same for so many other singers. it truly amazes me and I never can thank you enough.

to @tifnedooda and @brookethat , thank you for holding and teaching a part of theatre i care so much for: dance. warm up, across the floor, and combos were so fun with you two and the lessons of coming out with the most energy from the first run is so crucial.

@keenanblogger , thank you for diving deep into even just a short monologue with me and every other camper. it is such a lively and fun environment working with you, but also still incredibly deep and meaningful work that is done. you inspire me and many others.

thank you @lindsaygates1 for even making this a possibility and teaching all of us truly how this crazy industry works and believing in all of us

@laurabellbundy , it is cherised in my heart the work that I was able to accomplish with you. never would I think that a 64 bar cut could be full of so much emotion and power. thank you for connecting me closer to the text and truth of the world. the ability to perform for anf work with you is a memory I will never forget!

finally, to my fellow campers, you guys ROCK. literally. never has there been a group of so many people who are aldo so kind and talented. it takes a dpecial kind of person to be so amazing at what they do while also being humble and sweet to everyone, and the BMC campers are just that. love you all.

overall, @broadwaymastercamp is an experience I woild reccomend to ANYONE and EVERYONE to audition for, and, if given the chance, go to. you will learn more than you ever think is possible and come out with more friends than ever.
