two weeks ago, i did the scariest thing that i wanted to do this year…and the most courageous thing i’ve done for my artistry so far. since i was 9, i specifically dreamed about having my own original music…and 16 years later, here we are!😭

it meant everything having my close family and friends that i grew up with - and new friends - to celebrate not one but TWO huge milestones, the love was so palpable and i appreciate you all deeply. i’m still buzzing and riding the high ngl!! *and the ones who wanted to come but couldn’t make it but always loved on and supported me, thank you🫂

i’m also thankful to have parents who always believed in me and supported me following my passions (not just financially) that really means the world cause many people don’t get that.

and i have the BEST brothers in the world, shout-out to them they need their own moment💓✨💁🏽‍♂️🧚🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♂️

thank you to @dreamzatl for allowing me to use your space!

and most of all THANK YOU to karen and hugo for opening their home to me and orchestrating/helping me carry out my vision. y’all are family!!🫂🫶🏾🫡

y’all don’t understand (some of y’all do, you saw me at my lowest) the internal work it took for me to get to a place of being so sure and comfortable with myself, to be so open and vulnerable, it was just as crucial as the physical effort it took to make this all happen. i’ve worked rEALLY hard to be in a space where i pushed past fears of inadequacy, self-limiting beliefs, a lot of rejection, distractions, self-sabotage, you name it i been throuuuugh it.

the road’s been tough, but i’m tougher.✨

and yeah y’all we making these finishing touches on the music but for now, know that i’m encouraged and inspired to keep moving forward and continuing to share whatever visions come to this pretty little head of mine. we’re just getting started fr.

cheers to homegrown and cheers to creative people doing creative stuff with intention and reflecting ourselves and each other as we move through time and space - as we should!!🥂
