For two nights, Addison became the meeting point of two worlds. Two chefs. Two continents. Two distinct ways of seeing, feeling, and expressing gastronomy. Anne-Sophie Pic arrived from Valence carrying with her more than a century of culinary heritage, shaped by four generations of the Pic family. Yet her cuisine is deeply personal. Self-taught, intuitive, and driven by an extraordinary sensitivity to aroma, she has built a singular language of her own, one defined by tension, delicacy, and unexpected combinations. Her approach, which she calls Suffusion, is rooted in the layering of flavors: infusion, marination, maceration, smoke. A cuisine in which aromas reveal themselves gradually, each one giving way to another. Across the world, in San Diego, William Bradley has spent more than twenty years shaping Addison into a destination of its own, which was the first three-Michelin-star restaurant in Southern California. His cuisine is grounded in precision, restraint, and a profound sense of place. Geographically, their worlds could hardly be further apart. And yet, for two nights, their perspectives found one another. Rather than simply placing two cuisines side by side, the dinner became a conversation. Anne-Sophie Pic selected her courses first, and Bradley built the rest of the menu in response. One dish answering another. One sensibility creating space for the next. What emerged was not a compromise between two styles, but a moment of complementarity: the meeting of two chefs who speak very different culinary languages, yet share the same pursuit of emotion, precision, and discovery. Hublot brought another expression of that same idea. Its Art of Fusion finds a natural echo in Pic’s own approach: tradition pushed forward through experimentation, precision balanced by instinct. Anne-Sophie Pic has been a Hublot ambassador since 2021, while William Bradley is a friend of the brand. For two evenings, distance disappeared. Valence met San Diego. Even the smallest confections felt like the closing lines of a beautiful story. Under the visionary leadership of @chefwilliambradley , @addisonrestaurant delivers an extraordinary dining experience rooted in precision, creativity, and a deep respect for exceptional ingredients. From the delicate Shigoku oyster with cucumber, apple, dill, and caviar to the exquisite @n25caviar with Koshihikari rice and smoked sabayon, every plate was a little world of its own. A special thank-you to Captain Patrick @moomoothedog who guided us through the evening with such warmth, knowledge, and genuine care. It wasn’t simply dinner. It was an experience in curiosity, craftsmanship, and the beauty of paying attention. But my favorite part wasn’t on the menu. It was being with my daughter, sharing something extraordinary, watching her experience the wonder of it all. Because motherhood isn’t only about teaching our children how to work hard, be humble, and get through the difficult seasons. It’s also about showing them the beauty this world has to offer. Teaching them to be curious. To appreciate artistry. To celebrate life’s little luxuries without forgetting what truly matters. The world is full of beautiful experiences.
