🎉 TWO YEARS OF LONDON HANDPAN ACADEMY! 🎉

What a fantastic weekend celebrating two years since we first opened the doors of the London Handpan Academy!🥳

A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported us along the way. Over the last two years, we’ve welcomed around 1,500 students to our in-person workshops, plus over 450 who’ve signed up to our online course, all coming together to learn this incredible instrument! 🛸

We’ve got lots of exciting plans for the future, including new courses, handpans for sale and handpan rentals. So if you’re looking to learn, buy your own handpan make sure you’re signed up to our newsletter to stay in the loop.✨

We’ve got literally a couple of places left for November before we take a little break, then we’ll be back in full swing in January. And don’t forget, a handpan workshop makes a pretty good Christmas present! 😉

A big shout-out to @adi_handpan for helping out this weekend, @seraphimzlatev for being part of the journey over the last two years, and of course @yatao.shop and @maltemarten for helping us get started in the first place 🫂

Have an amazing week ! ✨🎵

Community Concert with Adi Goradia on October 22 in the Handpan Family
Originally from Mumbai, Adi now lives in London. The 27-year-old has been playing the handpan for three years and uses the instrument to express what words often can't. He weaves stories, emotions and his own experiences into his music.
What he loves most about the handpan are the encounters and connections it creates. And that's exactly what he lives by: over the past two years, he has built a handpan community in London that now brings together almost 100 music lovers.
We're so happy to welcome Adi as our guest and warmly invite you to join us live. You'll find all the details about the concert in the Handpan Family – the link is ☝ in our bio.

London Handpan Ensemble - Jam #11 ✨

Still feeling the magic from this one 🤍

Jam 11 brought together so many familiar faces and so many new ones, and somehow turned into one of our most beautiful and experimental gatherings yet. 🫂🫶🏽

Handpans met Tibetan bowls, gongs, djembe, guitar, chanting, dancing, charms and all sorts of unexpected sounds 🎶✨

Different instruments, different age groups, different levels of experience, all found a way to create something beautiful together 💫

As the evening went on, the music slowly gave way to dancing, conversations, new connections, and one of the best sunsets in London as we called off the evening with some drinks by the lake 🌅

It’s incredibly heartwarming watching this community grow so quickly built on a foundation of openness, curiosity and kindness that started it 🤍

Thank you to everyone who came and brought a little piece of themselves to the circle 🙏

Jam 12 isn’t too far away 👀🛸

Some evenings stay with you long after they’re over. ✨

Shringar was one of those evenings.

A space filled with women, creativity, conversations and little moments that slowly turned strangers into a community. From mehendi and journaling to poetry, handpan melodies and stories shared over smiles, every corner of the evening held something special.

It wasn’t just about what we did.
It was about how it felt to be there, together. 🤍

To every woman who came, created, shared and simply showed up, thank you for making Shringar what it became.

A feeling. A memory. A little piece of togetherness.

Some evenings don’t ask you to perform. They simply ask you to arrive.

Shringar became a space where strangers shared smiles, stories, creativity and quiet moments together. From fresh mehendi to heartfelt journaling, poetry, handpan melodies, and conversations that linger long after the evening ends, it was everything it was meant to be.

To every woman who joined us, thank you for making Shringar more than an event.
You made it a memory. 🤍

𝟏𝟎 𝐣𝐚𝐦𝐬. 𝟐 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬. 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 🤍

What started as a small circle of handpans in a London park has grown into something incredibly special - jams, meetups, friendships, collaborations, shared music, and a growing community 🌿

Most of all, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 to everyone who has joined a jam or meetup, played, listened, helped out, shared their music, or simply brought their energy into the circle - 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 🤍

More than anything, it’s become a space built around kindness, openness and genuine connection - somewhere to feel welcome, express yourself, share music without judgement, and simply be yourself 💫

Today, our community has grown to 85+ people, and now 𝑳𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒏 𝑯𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒑𝒂𝒏 𝑬𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒆 finally has a home of its own on Instagram 🛸✨

A space to share our jams, music, collaborations, workshops, concerts, and everything still to come 🌱

Here’s a little rewind through some of the countless memories we’ve created along the way ✨

𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐥? Say hi in the comments 👀🤍

Here’s to many more jams, connections and memories together 🌿✨

It’s still such a nice feeling to meet people, that put in the effort to learn one of my melodies (in this case: „hourglass“) 😍 especially when they are badass human beings like @adi_handpan - such a joy to have met you at @panparadisehandpan spent time with you and jam together 🫶🏼
