POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Three Stones and a Djinn travelled to Mumbai.

What started as a memory note on my phone, after hearing a story from my father during a family get together on a barbecue night, slowly became a story I wanted to write for the screen.

I had wanted to write this for a long time. Like many other unfinished works, this screenplay remained a pending draft. It was only because of the @swaindiaorg Screenplay Lab that I finally pushed myself to complete the entire 100+ page screenplay.

I am immensely grateful to @swaindiaorg for the opportunity. Having the screenplay selected from more than 1500 entries and getting the opportunity to take it to Bombay and pitch it to some of the leading production houses is something I will always be proud of.

But what makes this even more special for me is that it happened through the Screenwriters Association of India, the voice of screenwriters in our country.

It was an absolute privilege to be part of this beautiful group of writers, each with immense talent, unique voices and incredible stories. I loved being around all of you and I’m so happy that our paths crossed.

A special thank you to @cinema_is_forever for your guidance and mentorship. Your inputs helped me understand how to present and pitch my story, and I honestly don’t think I could have done it the way I did without your guidance.

@bawara.mann , thank you for being there right from the beginning of this writing journey and for travelling with me to Bombay for the pitch. This journey would not have been happened without you.

@praveenbaalakrishnan , thank you for introducing me to SWA, for patiently reading every one of my stupid drafts, for all the corrections, and for helping me shape the pitch.

@sagarsathyan , thank you for always being there, both personally and for the story. Your support has meant a lot.

And thank you to every single person who, in some way, helped this story travel from a note on my phone to Bombay.

Still a long way to go, but this journey has already given me memories I will always cherish.

The wonderful cohort of writers at the 2026 SWA Pitchfest, from across the country, each with an amazing story that will hopefully soon find a way into the world.

What fun it was to meet them all. The high of the two days is yet to subside. Thanks @swaindiaorg ❤️🤟

What a ride this has been so far. Honoured to make it to the Top 25 of @swaindiaorg 's 2026 Feature Film Script Lab & Pitch Fest, and to be on this list with some of the finest new voices (and lovely people). Upwards, and onwards.

Thank you @cinema_is_forever @meetmshah @sanchitdahake and all the wonderful people at SWA!

(In)justice League from school🏫. 😎💀🏴‍☠️🤪

Most unbridled and undiluted conversations we can possibly have😆.

When the passing of months and years feels like a day or two at most. Doesn't even qualify as a reunion.
