We’re partnering with @adrift.coffee to highlight @cooparomasdelvalle’s work with @thechaincollaborative to support women in coffee-producing communities - something I feel @dollyparton would approve of! We will be donating $1 per drink and $2 per bag of coffee back to @thechaincollaborative project.

Still feeling pretty sentimental over the loss of Dolly. She’s been such a light to a lot of us and that certainly applies to me. Growing up having her to look up to, to be proud of where she’s from, to not dull her light, to not be swayed from others expectation of her, to stand up for other people just because it’s something you should do, to be an incredible businesswoman and to not be apologetic about any of it. May I strive to be more and more like her.

This menu was created with her in mind. All of the drinks (minus the banana) has an ingredient that is native to East Tennessee: maypop (native passion flower), pawpaw, and elderberry.

Island in the Stream:
featuring the native pawpaw
(literally picked from an island in the Clinch River)
It’s the largest edible fruit indigenous to the U.S. and has a slightly mango/tropical flavor

My Tennessee Mountain Home:
featuring the native passionflower (aka maypop)
(Grown in Morristown by a lady who uses the money to provide care for stray animals)
It is the only passion fruit species native to the temperate regions of the U.S.

Clear Blue Morning:
featuring native elderberries
(foraged in Clinton, TN)

We’re feeling so grateful for such a beautiful day celebrating summer and our community! The chefs brought the HEAT this year. The decor and vibes were immaculate. And we did it all to raise every $ for the mighty @mountainaccessbrigade

To all who attended, volunteered, prepped that morning, schmoozed, poured and cooked, from the bottom of our lil hearts, GRAZIE!

Swipe to see just how far this space has come! What was once home to Knox Glass Co. is now home to four local businesses, and tonight you’ll get to experience it for yourself.

Super short, great time In Knoxville!!! Until next time!
While I was there for other business, I was able to get away for a second and found a few local coffee roasters that’s I couldn’t help but stop by and checkout!
