09/10/2026: “the trilogy”

Super Empty and The Genius Party put together a dope summer series, and this was a helluva finale🔥

sets by Altair Kareem, Nikias, Vandy Preem and 9OFHEARTS had @shadowbox_studio beyond hype, and the open aux let some talented artists in the building flex their skills and even tease some unreleased music! a great time all around, tbh🤞🏾

missed this one? keep an eye on the @superemptync and @thegeniuspartync instagrams — and check the SE events calendar!

our NINTH version of ORS NEXT for august is HERE 💛

we’re one installment away from our tenth anniversary of what’s been one of the most special showcases for upcoming artists on ORS which is absolutely insane. its always the biggest blessing for me to showcase the incredibly talented artists in our community so it was an honor

these were my favorites of the songs you guys suggested in those comments, some ranging from being a little more rap-heavy to others feeling more melodic and atmospheric. overall, these are all songs that I think represent just how talented the ORS community is

i’ve had the pleasure of being able to listen to so many incredible songs from these upcoming artists and have been able to build relationships and friendships with you guys as well. i think the most beautiful thing about the underground community is that there truly is such a diverse range of sounds

all of these upcoming artists are people that i think have bright futures ahead of them and it’s you guys that tagged them in our inquiry post as well as the artists themselves that made this possible. so THANK YOU

remember, there is absolutely NO way anyone could’ve gotten on this aside from commenting! these are all hand selected, and some artists here have more followers/listeners while others do not. all organic connection fr

all some of my favorites from august. go show some love and know that we’ll be doing another installment very soon :) keep your eyes peeled family

LOVE Y’ALL

There’s a line from my record ‘Orange Swade’: “Toni told me don’t mistake (miss) Niggas wanna cave my chest (chess) plate (play) tell em I’ll make dey btch late” doing laps in my head today. When I wrote it, I was on Jupiter compared to who I am today yet who I am today couldn’t of arrived without traveling those valleys before. Writing and creating from life is my dream but more my lifeline. You often find things later you couldn’t possibly see right then but was present all along. This season feels like words I haven’t found and my purpose feels more like a friend than fear finally. I’m really excited to be excited again. Don’t lose it again #mutie 🫂
