Last night, Olive met Nonna Mei, and what a first service it was! A room full of energy, plates worth passing around, and the kind of evening that makes you want to stay a little longer. Nonna Mei reimagines Italian food in a way that’s quite possibly unlike anything else in India, blending the soul of Italy and the ingredients of Meghalaya, and our diners experienced that last night. With just two more services to go, dinner tonight and brunch tomorrow, if you’ve been meaning to book, this is your sign. For reservations call +917208478228 or book using the link in bio. Come hungry, come curious. See you at the table!

Every dish has a story. And sometimes, the most interesting part is discovering where it begins. At Nonna Mei, Italian cooking takes a detour through Meghalaya, with local ingredients finding their way into classic Italian cuisine - Cray Fish with Bitchi Rice Wine, Foccaccia served with Sohiong Berry Vinegar and Morbier cheese, Blood Sausage Pizza, and more! Curious? We thought you might be. From the first ingredient to the last bite, there's plenty here you might not expect Olive × Nonna Mei 23–25 October Your favourite corner, a new story on the table. See you there.

Some of the best food stories begin with a simple idea: cook with what the land gives you, and let the ingredients tell their story. At Nonna Mei, the soul of Italian cooking finds a home in Meghalaya, where local ingredients and the food traditions of the Northeast bring a fresh perspective to the Italian cuisine we know and love. It’s the kind of food that invites you to slow down, order another course, pour another glass, and stay a little longer. Ranked #44 on Condé Nast Traveller’s Top 50 Restaurants list, they would be joining us at Olive for one weekend only, with Chefs Niyati Rao and Jignesh Chawda bringing this story to Olive. To be very honest, I’m done with every bar calling themselves hidden or a speakeasy, because most of them are not. This one though, changes the game. A true mixologist bar, it’s like a lab. A dream for people who genuinely want to enjoy their drinks and cocktails and are truly driven by experimentation and experiences. Also. EAT BEFORE. They do have fries, but thats about it :) Comment ‘HIDDEN’ and i’ll send the location to you! . . . . . . . . Delhi bars, hidden bars in delhi, delhi speakeasy, hidden gems, cocktail bars
