Boulder County Fair Parade was a great time!

Had 15 friends and volunteers come out to march with the Boulder County Democratic Party and give away candy. Shoulda brought more.

Come join LAUNCH for a night of fun at Pumphouse Brewery! This is the perfect opportunity to unwind after a long week and meet new people.

Don't worry about driving - use the RIDE Longmont app for a free ride to/from the party! Longmont's new microtransit service has extended hours until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays in December only. Let's show our support for late-night services. See you there!

London, even 15 years later, you’re still as magical as ever! And I’m so grateful that I got to show my family across the pond how special you are!

Stan Sweaney is doing everything right to be awarded a LEED Silver or LEED Gold certification for his energy efficient home in Cotopaxi, Colorado. His footprint on the earth is as light as a leaf falling from a tree. 🍃

Energy Logic and CSU’s Institute for the Built Environment, and myself, are meeting with Stan to determine the LEED points his project can be awarded. With our help going forward, Stan will do everything possible to create one of the cleanest, most energy efficient mountain home’s in Colorado. His project will be an inspiration for generations to come.

Thank you Stan for your hard work and inspiration! 🌍🍃

And the cat-sitting misadventures continue!

This little crumpet just about gave me a heart attack last night…

Before my bath last night around 10, I went around the house to check if all the doors were locked.

The only door that wasn’t locked was the back door so I turned the latch to lock it.

As I was turning the lock, I had failed to noticed that the door knob had also turned and that the door was starting to open.

Eager to start my relaxing evening, I went to soak into the bath.

After about 30 minutes, I got out and started walking to the dryer to retrieve my clean pajamas.

As the dryer is just past the back door, this is when I noticed that the door was ajar and the 2 indoor cats were no where to be found.

Cue panic attack.

Not bothering to throw on any clothes or shoes, I bolt out the door dripping wet and stark naked.

On the back porch is Fawnda - the more cautious and sensible of the two cats.

Upon seeing me, she mews with her cute squeaky voice and scampers on inside.

Luca -too curious and confident for his own good- is nowhere to be seen.

Resigned that this evening won’t be as relaxing as I had hoped for, I go back inside to retrieve my phone and quickly make myself decent.

Once back outside, I spend 5 minutes searching the perimeter of the house and any bushes, shrubs, or places he might hide.

He is still no where to be found.
