Investing in our communities means creating spaces where neighbors can come together, access resources, support local businesses, and celebrate the cultures that make Northeast LA what it is.

That’s what Música y Poemas is all about. This year, we transformed Figueroa into an open street for families and neighbors of all ages to enjoy free arts and cultural programming, connect with organizations that serve our communities, and celebrate the creativity and talent of our district.

We’re grateful to every artist, vendor, organization, and community partner who made this year’s festival possible. Looking forward to the next one! 💛✨

We invite our Black, sapphic community plus our other queer fam, friends and all our (REAL) allies to CLUB CLEO CABARET this Friday and Saturday at DSP Studios.

ARE YOU READY TO GET EMBODIED?

At the root of embodiment is desire. Whether you desire to….

-Be effervescent
-Feel electric
-Stop resisiting the undeniable
-Have sensual, sonic experiences
-Get liberated

You’ll find all of that and more when the cabaret doors open soon……

Still reminiscing on my experience at @the_peace_studio as a part of the 2026 Artist As Catalyst cohort… this is an improv song I did for our showcase. Words were inspired by the audience. I’m calling it “Joy & Peace” if it wasn’t too obvious… :) THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME!

I continue to be inspired by this community. I hope to see you all soon✨🌻
