Film roll from the past month in South Africa. It had been more than ten months since we were last ‘home’. And I say ‘home’ because I have two homes and will always have two. There’s a quiet guilt in never being able to be in both places at once, often feeling like we let down one of the two. But I choose to see it as a privilege rather. I’m grateful to have people I love so deeply in two corners of the world.

I love love these photos, the only way to stop the time for a sec. What made it even more special is that my parents also flew down for ten days. They met Zach’s family for the first time, we hiked, toured, talked and hugged in real life. It meant the world to be able to show them this place and so many special people in our life.
