My favorite SDCC reveal…😮

One of my favorite reveals from SDCC this year has to be this amazing Rocketeer figure, although the release date is questionable…is there even a Q5?! 🧐

Set to be released by Bigelows, this one looks like a true classic waiting to happen! Definitely inspired by the old Playmates Dick Tracy figures given the wide stance and scale, it almost feels like something ripped right out of the early 90s! Who doesn’t love a good retro figure?

Okay truth is, It’s completely unofficial, completely fake, and honestly one of my favorite things I’ve made in a while. Inspired by the incredible art by @adventurersproject (@thesteele ) this was a fun one to bring to life, stay tuned tomorrow for a giveaway post tomorrow!

Also if this was real I’d totally buy one though. 🚀

The Living Seas turns 40 this week! Here’s a new sticker design that will be up in the shop soon, along with a design from few years ago and a few photos of retro Living Seas. Sea Base Alpha was the coolest. Home to Hydrolators. Seacabs. And the most wonderful 80’s nature educational and borderline terrifying preshow film of my childhood!! Happy 40th, Sea Base Alpha! You may be full of Pixar fish now, but you’ll always be the Living Seas to me. So glad I was able to experience 80’s Epcot Center 💙🌐🌊 #thelivingseas #seabasealpha #thesteeledesigns #adventurersproject #epcot

Prints are here! Thanks to everyone who preordered! Your prints will be shipping at the end of this week/early next week! Then I’ll put them up in my Adventurers Project Etsy shop shortly after that.

I have two of the aforementioned “special edition” shiny prints, so I might surprise one of you in a “golden ticket” sort of way, then perhaps do a giveaway for the other. Thanks again for the support!

Pages 3,4 - My adventures painting in the park continues with one that so many asked for (and we all knew I was going to do next) the one and only Piggy Fountain which I painted with water from the fountain!
🐷🗽⛲️ I love spending time in Muppet Courtyard, and hearing the excitement of people and the music of grand ave while painting really elevated the time spent in one of my favorite places! It was a warm one… so I had to find a shady spot until the sun found me, and I finished from a photo reference while under the cover of PizzeRizzo’s patio.

I LOVE how it turned out, and I decided to make a limited run of prints for sale! They are 4x6.5 inches (life sized to my sketch wallet) on premium matte paper. Each print is signed and has its own unique hand embellishments (see the last video for what I mean!) These will be $20 with shipping included in the price. Shoot me a message if you or anyone you know might be interested! Thanks for looking!
