Live drawings by our artist Lee that helped set the scene for Ady Johnson's headline set on saturday.

Thanks to everybody who came, it was yet another memorable show with fine musicianship.

Ember sessions is looking for more artists to work with at future shows, anyone interested in live drawing please contact us via dm or email. We love to see art inspired by the folk performance taking shape before us. We hope a few artists will be interested giving this a try at our next show on oct 3rd. (Usually we have 1 artist draw live and overhead project this onto a screen beside the stage, on oct 3rd there will be no projections)

We’re thrilled to welcome Ady Johnson to ember sessions for an intimate evening of folk, Americana and intricate fingerpicked guitar.

Ady’s latest album, Under Gainsborough Skies, draws on the spirit of the 1960s folk revival, with intimate live studio recordings exploring memory, time and a sense of place.
