✨🥺 Funeral photos from Splinter Factory 🥹💗 RIP✨⚰️  I'm trying a new way of getting photos to people. The link to the full funeral collection is in my bio, where you can download individual pics. I'm grateful for the innumerable ways my life has been enriched by Splinter Factory, by Splinter's residents, and the extended Splinter family. Communal spaces save lives and give us life. I did a whole eulogy about it for the Splinter Factory funeral. Let me know if you'd like me to share that recording. Also I can only tag 20 ppl so you'll have to help me out with the rest. Sorry I didn't capture everyone. I actually really struggle with posting/sharing photos especially on this app but I want people to have pics of cutiepie moments in their lives so gotta push through. Thanks @geoorgia321 and @k.katchalova for helping me pic pics for the post💗

ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT: Emerald and Aemyn are a Queer folk duo making music on Gadigal and Wangal Land. In February they released their debut EP Precious Names. Each song Precious Names is an honest dedication to one of Emerald’s loved ones, and lays the foundation of a mutually vulnerable and trusting creative relationship. Aemyn’s sweet harmonies and supportive guitar lines are married with Emerald’s clear voice and grounded songwriting to form a true collaboration chronicling the lines between grief and joy, love and loss, romantic and platonic. Queer at heart and steeped in folk tradition, Precious Names at its core is a celebration of what it means to love and be loved. We’re so blessed that Emerald and Aemyn will be sharing some beautiful songs with us at the Crip Love Launch and Listening Party next Sunday ✨ All are welcome and this is a free event but we have limited capacity so registration is a must via the link in our bio x Image Description: In the centre a photo captures Emerald and Aemyn with joyful smiles while performing on stage. Behind the photo is a pastel pink, purple and green gradient background with hand drawn hearts, stars and dots scattered around. Towards the bottom of the poster text reads: Emerald and Aemyn; June 7; Gadigal Land. In the bottom left corner is the Randwick Council logo and the bottom right corner is the Crip Love logo designed by Emma Pham.

Day 12: Generative Swarm Digital life simulation where a swarm reacts to the presence of hands. The agents adjust their flight paths in real-time to avoid contact with the detected silhouettes. Technical Breakdown (Python / OpenCV): Behavior: Boids Algorithm (Separation, Alignment, Cohesion). Repulsion: Vectors calculated via Distance Transform and Sobel gradients. Vision: Silhouette extraction using MOG2 background subtraction. Performance: NumPy-vectorized calculations for 100+ agents. Save this as a technical art reference. The tickets for our next @womensworksydney monthly jam are LIVE 🌟 check out EVENTS highlight for the link ✨ ❤️ Limited spaces available ❤️ ❤️ Transphobia free zone ❤️ ❤️ Gender non-confirming sisters are welcome ❤️ After a shitty experience at a jam this week, I was reminded why this space is so badly needed - a space to learn, explore, connect, collaborate, share skills, BREATHE 🧚 A space focused on connection, not competition 🐉 Thank you so much to the beautiful humans who made our first jam as magical & wholesome as it was (our video game will improve - give us time😂😭) @aemyn @catherine.munro @emmachantiri @francescaheptonstall @cleapatrra @evadianamusic
