🔊✂️🎛️ Stem breakdown in Ableton of my newest soundtrack for @minorstep & @vitalykiaiev's "ROMBAUT × PUMA LEVITATION" visual piece. Loved working on this one, feels like my bread and butter kind of sound lately!

Isolated string section from my recent BUIO soundtrack (dir. @minorstep for @meofusciuni_parfums). Surprisingly few channels here.

🎶 Such a joy to have scored LIMBO, a gripping new short film by Video Greed @videogreed dir. by Josh Guillaume @josh.guillaume, now playing at select festivals.

An uninsured convenience store worker experiences chest pains, setting her scrambling through a healthcare obstacle course.

Big thanks to the incredible team from Kansas City to Los Angeles for bringing this story to life—honored to have composed the score for this one.

Follow along @videogreed for updates on screenings and the online release!

Some projects just draw everything out of you. When the concept, the direction, and the creative freedom all align, I find myself more easily immersed into every little sonic detail with absolute care and curiosity. I love these types of collaborations.

Non vedo più niente attorno a me,
è forse notte?
Non ricordo d’aver visto il tramonto arrivare.

I no longer see anything around me,
Could it be night?
I don’t recall seeing the sunset arrive.

"Going Beyond" - One of the most fun projects I've had the chance of working on is making the music and sound for this spec commercial, by director and VFX artist Josh Guillaume @josh.ontheweb.

Josh directed and created the 'Ascent' video for my @aonianmusic project a year ago, and I'm really glad we've kept the collaboration going.

Some technical details for my #musicmaker and #musicproducer friends:

Main libraries used were @spitfireaudio's @olafurarlands evolutions strings, some of them passed through @audio.damage's grainspace plugin to score the northern lights reflecting on the car. Also, a @korgofficial ms20 synth plugin for all bass, kick, and drone elements, and of course @soundtoys FX throughout when doing some creative sound design and mixing.

The discrete sounds of the headlights were programmed with @Ableton's user oscillator on the synth operator, with some stock plugin saturators, tube distortion, overdrive, and simple but extreme EQing with Eq-three to only keep the >12khz frequencies audible. Cinematic impacts and SFX also created with operator with the pitch envelope and filter saturation pushed towards the edge.

JOSH WRITES:

"I promised myself I wouldn’t make another spec spot, but really can’t resist when it comes to all of the excitement around the new EV models coming out these past few years. It’s all completely new ground to explore ideas and concepts.

"PIROUETTE" - audiovisual collaboration with @hugojohnson01

Constantly inspired by Hugo's visuals, so I hit record and improvised a few minutes on the piano, then chose some loops to send over to him. He interestingly chose the first motif I had played while watching his work.
