Inspiring future baristas in Tottenham!
Today we had the absolute pleasure of hosting Antwan from @afkcharity at Cafe Lemon for an introductory barista session! He spent the hour getting a hands-on feel for the espresso machine, learning how coffee is made, and exploring what it takes to be a barista.

Antwan brought incredible enthusiasm to the workshop, and watching young local talent discover a passion for coffee is what our community is all about.

Wishing Antwan all the best as he takes his next steps!

We’re delighted to be putting on a C.I.N.E.M.A. screening of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' including additional spooky bits and pieces:

We’re delighted to hear about the difference The Moulding Foundation’s £5,000 donation to @afkcharity has made, helping five children across Merseyside, Manchester, Liverpool and Wakefield access specialist mobility equipment, including pushchairs, a buggy and car harnesses.

AFK is an amazing charity supporting disabled and neurodivergent children and young people to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

They have shared how the donation has supported Jacob, a two-year-old with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. His new lightweight specialist pushchair has enabled him and his family to enjoy more accessible outings and create memorable experiences together.

Jacob’s mum has told us...

“The stroller has already made a huge difference to our lives. It gives Jacob the postural support he needs, which makes outings much more comfortable for him. This has given us so much more freedom and flexibility to get out and about together, which has been wonderful. We’ve had an amazing summer thanks to having this pram.” 🐝
