A Luxury Bathroom Inspired by Damascus: A Fusion of Tradition and Craftsmanship

Luxury design is at its best when it tells a story. I recently had the opportunity to photograph a breathtaking bathroom that draws its inspiration from the rich architectural heritage of Damascus, Syria. The designer, Celina Frank, together with the talented craftsmen at A Frank & Co, masterfully blended intricate black-and-white tilework with warm wood and brass accents, creating a space that feels both timeless and contemporary.

One of the standout features of this project is the glass-encased shower, a true feat of engineering. The installation by the amazing team at Custom Cut Enclosures, includes some of the largest glass panels ever produced and shipped by the manufacturer, adding to the grandeur of the space while maintaining a seamless, open feel.

Capturing the details of this design—how the materials interact with light, how patterns create movement, and how craftsmanship shines through every element—was an exciting challenge. It’s projects like these that remind me why I love architectural photography.

A kitchen reface for the books! It all started when Tracey @redesigned_inc started working with her friend to create a design to reface this kitchen. She called us in to consult, and a beautiful product was created with Tracey and Celina with @afrankandcollc working together on the design! Patrick & Grace from @blueheroncustoms helped complete this look by custom building this beautiful island! The hardwood floors and subway tiles from @artwalkdesign added the warmth and texture we were looking for, and the large drum pendants from @ballarddesigns are the exact jewelry this kitchen needed to complete the look! Team work makes the dream work! 🪄

Thank you to @splendidjune for capturing these beautiful photos of this space!
