The second day of the @hbsabc #AfricaForward conference had a lovely blend of powerful keynote sessions, panel discussions and opportunities to network. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to former Ivorian Prime Minister @patrick_achi_officiel, who challenged the audience to wake up and go about the business of tackling the salient issues the continent is facing, while also finding time to pointedly remind us all of the recent AFCON results 🥲. He is currently a fellow at the @harvardkennedyschool Center for International Development. The closing keynote was a warm conversation with renowned author @chimamanda_adichie, who shared her thoughts on reframing an African narrative in her usual witty, direct, and thoughtful style. The conference closed out with a chance to mingle at an after party. Keep an eye on @coffeewithada for interviews of some of the interesting people I had a chance to meet! Kudos to the organizing team! #coffeewithada @plaidwithstripes1 @ibrahimsagna

Delighted to have attended the inaugural meeting of the Harvard African Women Leaders in Health yesterday at the Harvard University Center for African Studies. Excited to see how this incredible initiative will evolve, and I got a chance to speak to co-founders of the initiative, @fatouwurie and @tatemujeni about the vision for this project. AWL is housed by the Harvard Chan Africa Health Students Forum (AHF), and the event doubled as a kickoff for next year’s Africa Health Conference. #coffeewithada #womenleaders #africanwoman #harvard #harvarduniversity #africansinharvard #blackexcellence #africandiaspora

'If you keep looking at the buttocks of Dioche the palmwine tapper while on top of the tree, you may be discouraged from drinking the palmwine he is tapping.' - African Proverb

Meaning: This proverb teaches us to stay focused on our main goals and not get distracted by insignificant details. It reminds us that losing sight of the bigger picture can hinder our progress.

For instance, Imagine you're studying for a big exam. Focusing on irrelevant social media posts instead of your books is like staring at Dioche's buttocks.

Or in business, obsessing over minor setbacks can make you miss out on opportunities.

Task: 🤔 Take a moment to identify your primary goal or objective right now. Then, jot down one thing that distracts you from it. Challenge yourself to minimize that distraction for a day and watch your progress soar! 💪🚀

🙏 What an incredible moment it was!

🙌 I had the privilege of meeting the esteemed General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, PASTOR W.F. KUMUYI. A man of unwavering faith and wisdom. It's not every day that you get to share the blessings that come from your own journey, but was one of those rare and profound moments.

"My African Proverb" and "Starting Your Small Scale Enterprise" have been my labour of love, my dreams bound in pages, and my aspirations set in ink. ✍️ These books represent not just words, but the culmination of countless hours of hard work, lessons learned, and wisdom.

"My African Proverb" is a tribute to the rich tapestry of wisdom that Africa has woven throughout its history. It's a celebration of our culture, values, and the timeless proverbs that guide us through life's twists and turns.

"Starting Your Small Scale Enterprise" is my humble attempt to demystify the world of entrepreneurship. It's a handbook for those who dare to dream, who aspire to build something of their own from the ground up. 🚀

Meeting the General Overseer was not just an honor, but a divine moment where our paths intersected, and I had the chance to share these books with him. His words of encouragement and blessings have filled my heart with gratitude and motivation.

To everyone who has been a part of this incredible journey, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support, your belief in my vision, and your love have made this moment possible. 🙌

I can't wait to see where these books will journey to next and whose lives they will touch. May they be a source of inspiration, knowledge, and empowerment for all who read them.

These books are a must read. If you are interested in any, just send us a dm. Thank you😊
