This weekend @whyareyourunningclub hosted its first ever Afrobeats Run at the Capitol, and it was such a blast! To be surrounded by so many threads of home; from South Africa, Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, Congo, Zambia… my vocabulary is just not wide enough to describe it.

After the run, some of the guys stayed and practiced yoga for the very first time with me, and what a gift to belong in that circle. Blessed doesn’t quite cover it. We ended our practice with each of us extending words of loving kindness, and to hear some of those in our different dialects just felt like a homecoming.

The spirit of Ubuntu lives on. 🤎🌍#BuildingGlobalFamilySystem #StrongerTogether #ChildrenOfTheSoil #UbuntuWellnessCollective #CommunityConnector

We asked… and you answered! 🎤👀💃🏽

After our performance at the Afro Utah Festival, we talked to the audience to find out what they thought about our show — and the energy we received in return was incredible! 🥹❤️

It means so much to us to share a little bit of Brazilian dance and culture and see that energy connect with people from different cultures. 🇧🇷✨

Thank you to everyone who watched, danced, cheered, and shared this moment with us. See you at the next show! 💃🏽🔥

One of my favorite parts of performing begins after the music stops. ❤️

Because performance is worship—every note, lyric, and moment offered to God.

But sometimes, the most powerful ministry happens after the final song.

In the conversations.
The prayers.
The tears.
The laughter.
The dancing.
The stories from people who felt seen, encouraged, or healed through a song.

Afro Utah Fest reminded me that this journey is about so much more than performing. It’s about worship, community, faith, culture, and ministry. 🙏🏾🌍🎶

To everyone who shared a story, asked for prayer, danced with us, or told me how a song touched your heart—thank you. I’ll never take those moments for granted.

The music ended.

But the worship continued.

My heart is full, and I can’t wait to see where God leads next. ✈️❤️

What song has touched your life in a way you’ll never forget? 👇🏾

🇱🇷🏆 AND THE WINNER IS… LIBERIA! 🇱🇷🍚🔥
Congratulations to Fatimah Bradshaw, winner of the Afro Utah Jollof Rice Cook-Off Competition! 🎉 She took home the $1,000 grand prize after bringing incredible Liberian flavor to the competition.

It was such an honor for me, Chef Happi, to be part of the judging experience. We tasted some amazing Jollof, but in the end, Liberia took the crown! 👑🇱🇷

This is what food is all about—bringing our different cultures together, celebrating our heritage, and creating beautiful memories around the table. 🌍❤️

Congratulations, Fatimah! Liberia, you represented! 🇱🇷🔥
